This was our 2nd stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed for 3 nights and it was clean and quiet but I felt the bed was not that comfortable and there was no bathtub. As we travel with a pet the room was not where we wanted but it worked out well. Smoking rooms... More

The Best Western is nice, but a little expensive for a pretty basic room. There is a pool, and they told me only one other place in Bandon has one. The front desk person was helpful. The room was clean. You can walk across the street to the beach, but watch out for your hat--the wind blows hard! The restaurant... More

When I book Best Westerns in the US, it is generally because I am looking for an acceptable moderately priced hotel with the convenience of online reservations and cancellation and the fairly liberal cancellation policies of a chain. Within those parameters, I usually get what I’m expecting, more or less. Seldom do I have great kudos for a BW, but... More

Drove up from Gold Beach, an hour. The only place who had a room. The Sunset was recommended to us, but full. We stayed two nights in the two bedroom suite, two bath, fireplace, which worked well for my husband and I. But there wasn't an ocean view and told there was. You are across the street and look into... More

This hotel in general was in good shape, the rooms were ok, but nothing to note here. What I will say is that they boast about having a fantastic view of the ocean, which is not true. They are across the street and BEHIND another hotel. IF you can see the ocean you will leave un-fulfilled and have a sore... More

Stayed there as Bandon Dunes was full after our first night. Good size, well kept, somewhat pricey, but it's about right for the area. Better than a basic Best Western, but we stayed in a jacuzzi suite. Still, the pull out bed was like the "rack of torture' from the Seinfeld episodes-- completely sagged in the middle and hard to... We stayed at 6 hotels on our trip up and down the Oregon Coast. All the others were good to great, but this one was terrible. It was also the most expensive. The 2 bedroom room was in shambles, i.e. closet door off, screen door off and laying on balcony, refrigerator wouldn't open, and tv in living room area wouldn't... More

Pro - large clean rooms - location, quiet beach in walking distance - pool, Internet - balcony on upper floor units - friendly staff Con - no breakfast - fairly expensive After a small odyssey across Bandon, we ended up in the Best Western at Face Rock. The hotel is pretty expensive because the area is pricey and the beach... More

Don't expect too much & try not to pay more than $100/night. You'll love the beach just across the street & down the steps of a different hotel. Warning: if you bring your dog, beware that the other hotel that offers beach access posts signs "no dogs allowed beyond this point" and they mean it -- they use their own... More

We were here in August 2006. For the location and value this hotel cannot be beat. It is hardly fancy but the room was spacious and quiet enough. The parking lot can get a bit crowded but that really is not that big of a deal. The Bandon shore is wonderful and one can easily access the beach from the... More
