Stayed here 2 nights. Wonderful view over the ocean - BUT, the whole place looks like it is about to fall down. Stayed at the Vern Brown Addition - 3 storey motel on stilts. We were on the second floor and it sounded like we had elephant family on 3rd floor. What we didn't know was that 3rd floor is... more

If you are looking for an amazing view, clean and comfortable rooms and the most amazing, smiling helpful staff.......then this is the place for you! My daughter and I stumbled upon this place last year and were just so happy with our stay. I wanted to write a great review but wanted my husband to be able to see it... more

We've been visiting Bandon since I first met my hubby 17 years ago. He had stumbled upon it more than 25 years ago with his ex while visiting Bandon and he fell in love with the town and this little gem of a hotel. They have done quite a bit of expanding since then. We stay in the Vern Brown... more

We stayed at fancier hotels on our trip but Sunset Oceanfront Lodging takes top place for cleanliness and a million dollar view. The front desk staff was excellent and there was no issue with us viewing a few rooms before deciding on Room 359, Oceanfront Queens. The room provided everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. We didn’t... more

We were on our way to Crater Lake when a forest fire changed our plans. The highway to the CL Lodge was closed and would take a 4 to 5 hour detour to get there by another route. We decided to go to Bandon instead. The Chamber's Info Booth recommended three places. We visited Windmere, but the available room smelled... more

We stayed in one of the rooms in the Vern Brown addition. While the view is fantastic, these rooms are getting on in age and certainly could do with a re-model. However, the beds appear fairly new and were not lumpy or uncomfortable as per a previous review. Even though the rooms were old, they were very clean. Even the... more

We stayed in the ocean view 80's section.Room was large, clean, micro, fridge. 1980's furniture needs to be updated. The view from the balcony overlooking the beach is one of the most spectacular we have ever seen and we have been all over the world. The surf sounds in the room were quite relaxing. A bit overpriced ($150) but for... more

I stayed at the Sunset for 3 nights in July and couldn't have been more pleased. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were LARGE and very, very clean. (I stayed in what they call the "ocean front studio" rooms). I think only my hotel rooms in Vegas and at the Tenaya Lodge near Yosemite were... more
