Bandon Dunes has to be the golf destination on the West Coast with three widely reviewed courses, and Bandon Dunes and Pacific Dunes highly rated in the Top 100 US courses in the golf mags. My golf partner and I drove from SF (9 hours, but not that bad a drive), and stayed in the Lily Pond rooms. Split between... more

Many people try to say that a Bandon trip in March is a crazy person's choice. Well, I am here to say they are crazy. We had beautiful weather 3 of 4 days, the gorse was in full bloom, the conditions were firm and fast, the resort and courses were not terribly crowded, and the NCAA tournament was in full... more

If you are looking for a golf destination where golf is all that you want to do then Bandon is the place. Three great golf courses, i would rank Pacific Dunes the best, Bandon Trails second and Bandon Dunes third. The accomodations where fine, the restaurant choices where good and the pub was a fun place. If you are used... more

I traveled to Bandon Dunes with my son and his friend in July. I was excited about that trip and had been given the name of a top notch caddy. Rodney Young is a sr caddie who has been there for 10years. I couldn't have askd for a better caddy. Rodney knew all there was to know about all three... more

If you want golf at the very best, Bandon Dunes is for you. If you want incredible views, as true as you can in the States links-style golf and very nice accomodations this is Heaven. I have been to many of the great Resorts, but for the money its the best. Not for the whole family, no pool, no spa,... more

Unbelievable golf all 3 courses are superb - although Bandon is in the middle of nowhere - if you are a passionate golfer - this is the place for your next trip - the weather is unpredictable like Ireland and it is more difficult to get there than Ireland if your are coming from the East coast, but you wont... more

Stayed at the Lodge at Bandon for one night (of three; sold out the other 2). After a long day of golf (including our only 1/2 day of pouring rain) and dining with some drinks, I was looking forward to a good night's sleep prior to our next day of 36 pectacular holes. I was dissapointed in the fact that... more

We just returned from a great family vacation, yes I said family vacation, to Bandon Dunes. Accompanyed by my wife and 10 year old son, we proved that a great golf and family vacation can be one and the same, at least on the south coast of Oregon. Given that there is no pool at the resort (and every 10... more

Bandon was actually better than I had thought it would be. No, its not Sea Island, but the golf and mandatory walking is what makes it great. Unpretentious and straight forward. Mother Nature is what makes it great. A forward thinking owner who took a gamble with unknown architects and hit the jackpot!! Caddies are the way to go. Accomodations... more

Let me start by saying that Bandon Dunes is the most unique golf experiance I've ever had and I've played in Ireland, Pebble, Spyglass and Prarie Dunes in Kansas. The fact that it is all about golf and you are isolated and surrounded by 3 awesome courses on the Pacific coast is enough ! The golf is what they claim...... more
