This house was perfectly set on the shore of the bay. Our room, Sunset Room, was fairly priced with a great view of the ocean and the lighthouse. The Living Area was clean and comfortable and also provided a fantastic view. The best part has to be Shirley, the owner. This was our first stay in any sort of B... more

Thanks Shirley for our wonderful stay at the Lighthouse B&B, you're amazing! We loved the seagulls (Olivia and Stumpy), who visited the deck for their breakfast... now that's entertainment! Since we were here on shoulder-season and midweek, we had the place to ourselves and it really felt like our fantasy home. Wine and snacks available upon arrival and a sensational... more

It is wonderful to drive and see more of America than a long flight where you basically see nothing. We were driving down the Pacific Coast from Portland to Los Angeles and decided to stop at B&B's along the way near tourist attractions. Bandon Oregon is located on the coast, and there is a fantastic Golf resort with three incredible... more

For us, this B&B has been our home away from home while in Oregon. Shirley, the hostess and owner, is just an all-around wonderful person, who loves to cook and puts out a breakfast that will not disappoint anyone. You'll enjoy complimentary wine and snacks on arrival, and your room will be clean and comfortable. The view: one of the... more

The best things about this B&B are Shirley, the owner, and the location. Shirley is a very warm and friendly host who seems genuinely interested in her guests. She is not intrusive, however. She is mostly absent in her own apartment downstairs during the day and shows up in the morning staying through the breakfast. Her meals are large and... more

My wife and I stayed in the Deck room on July 19 and 20, 2008. Everything was great. The room with a private bath and walk out deck was clean and comfortable. A large common room provided a panoramic view of the ocean, river, lighthouse, and town. Right outside the main entry door, we walked along the river beach that... more

We stayed two nights in July in two different rooms. We arranged at the last minute on a summer weekend, so moved from the Greenhouse room to the Gray Whale room. Both rooms had two-person jacuzzi tubs, wood burning fireplaces and were very spacious and comfortable. It is furnished very eclectic with a combination of 70's modern meets Victorian-by-the-sea. Maybe... more

We have just returned from two nights at The Lighthouse B&B in Bandon, Oregon. We planned our trip to the Oregon Coast very late in the game and acknowledged that we would likely have to settle for whatever lodging was still available. Instead of "settling," we feel extraordinarily fortunate to have found The Lighthouse B&B. Situated on a spectacular spit... more

I stayed here a few years ago and just had a great time. I was staying in a different Oregon coast town each night, and this place really stood out. Right outside my window, if I recall in "Karen's Room," was the water. Hearing that lulled me to sleep. The owner was a gem of a hostess, she would feed... more

This large comfortable B&B is located within a stones throw of a lighthouse that is clearly visible from most rooms in the home. Upon entering and checking in, the fabulous hostess walks us to the kitchen, shows us where the wine and glasses are, has snacks on the counter and tells us to help ourselves to the refrigerator. Not wanting... more
