We were looking for a last minute one night stay that was cheap and this was perfect. As the other reviews noted, the carpet is old and dingy, but the bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom was clean. The room is small as is the TV but we did not care as it was a comfortable place to... More

This place is a blast from the past, and its great. We were returning from Yellowstone Park, which tends to be pricey. But here - we got a quiet non-smoking room for two people for less than $50.00, and it came with a real breakfast! The wifi in our room worked fine (we were upstairs, kind of close to the... More

My Grandmother grew up there in Baker City and we took her there for a visit. We stayed for 3 days and had a fabulous time. The front desk was so friendly and helpful. We received coupons for a full free breakfast every morning at the adjoining restaurant. The waitresses were very friendly and gave outstanding service. The pool was... More

This quaint and cozy hotel is the only place I will stay in Baker City. The rooms are small but clean, The staff here goes above and beyond every time I stay here. I love Carmen and she always does everything she can to accommodate, for instance, Check out is normally 11 but on several occasions they allowed us to... More

Thanks, Carmen, for giving us room 147. The soothing sound of the river all night soothed our jangled nerves. Though not a 5 star hotel, our room was clean & comfy and a great value. Breakfast in the restaurant was included for me but my husband chose the $ off option and had the corned beef hash which he said... More

They do have free Wi-Fi but the signal strength is sketchy. My room had a small refrigerator, microwave and A/C. My room also had a very comfortable memory foam mattress, although not all rooms do. They also have a small but very usable outdoor pool. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The location is within walking distance to historical... More

Short version: VERY dirty, no response to concerns or complaints, room not cleaned during the three day stay, building very old and multiple things that were not up to code, owner laughed at our complaints, without ever talking to us, because his staff had told him a different version. Long version: We, my parents from Germany, my kids 4 and... More

We knew we weren't staying at the Hilton and had realistic expectations. We wanted a budget friendly motel that met all the needs we had. We wanted a king size bed, a clean room and wifi access. Since internet access is imperative to my situation(in school with tons of homework), I NEEDED wifi. We showed up to a reasonable room as... More

We liked the location. Next to a trail along the river and they are very dog friendly. Getting to the dog walk through the boiler room was an experience though. Good restaurant next door.. You are downtown and can walk the main street. Rooms were adequate. Large rooms with separate shower and sink. Beds OK but not a La Quinta.... More
