This was an excellent place roomy comfortable and well outfitted with microwaves fridges and cofeemakers in the room. If you are loking for a pool and extras, this isn't your place, but for solid Americana road motel you can't beat it.

I had done a brief hunt of motels on tripadvisor for possible places to spend the night in Baker City, Oregon. This option came up so I copied the information and on our drive back, my husband called to make a reservation. They got us a room and excellent directions. The manager was great and extremely helpful. The room was... More

Uncomfortable with the mixed reviews for the Geiser Grand Hotel, we elected to stay at the Always Welcome Inn and were not disappointed. Rooms were a bit “tired” in appearance, but beds were comfortable and the entire property appeared neat and tidy. There was a slight mildew smell in our bathroom but no other complaints. As others have said, this... More

We were quite happy to find this place. Our room was quiet, clean and smoke-free. Really great price. Far enough from the highway to avoid that noise. It was close to the Pioneer Museum that we wanted to visit. Breakfast here is nothing to get excited about but some snacks and coffee available. The owners so friendly and chatty--felt like... More

Three of us rented two rooms for a night prior a backpacking trip in the nearby Wallowa Mountains. The Always Welcome Inn was a great choice. Rooms were large, clean and no unwanted odors. Beds and bedding were great and the fridge and microwave allowed us to have a light breakfast in the room before heading out to the Wallowas.... More

I was very pleased with how clean the motel was. .Very good attention to details. The room was large and had a good sized table to work at. The breakfast is just a Danish, coffee and maybe some fruit. The people are friendly and helpful. If I were in the area again I would stay here..

Just off the highway - didn't experience any noise. Elevated off the road with a nice outlook across to the hills. Good clean and tidy rooms - having the microwave was useful as we had some food with us. Owner was very helpful with travel advice, and the resident dog was very friendly and entertaining. Breakfast doesn't feature much, otherwise... More

A clean room, good bed and linens, secure parking, and no pet, smoking, or any other odors. Disappointment can come at any price, but our room (if not newish - remodeled) was quite spacious, and very affordable. Son to come - a mini golf for the kids! Highly recommended!

We come to Baker City 4 times year. Always clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. No smoking. Free wifi. If you don't need the room service and gym, try this place. Very close to town and right off the frreeway with no highway noise.
