The rooms themselves are pretty standard motel style rooms but very clean and comfortable. The nice thing is they are all along one end of the lodge on one floor so you don't have to worry about noisy crowds roaming the halls or making noise above you. A very peaceful place. The WONDERFUL part -- is the view from your... More

We loved the views and the rooms were beautiful. Restaurants are nearby even though there is not one at the lodge. Be sure to visit the cave famous for hiding Oklahoma outlaws. The hikes are easy and the scenery is beautiful.

First, i have to share this. i made a mistake with my reservation. When they called me to see if i was checking in late i realized i had made my reservation for the wrong night. Since it was not a weekend and they were not full, they managers was nice enough to move me to the next day with... More

It was a humid day, but it also seemed a little humid in the room and it smelled like a lake house. Which is fine. Other than that I was surprised to see a refrigerator and a microwave. And the back door leading to the big rocks and view of the valley was super! Story: someone set the fire alarm... More

The lodge consists of a block of motel type roomss situated in the middle of the State Park. Being a state park i was a bit wary of what standard the accomodation would be but the rooms are superb. They are large spacious, clean and well apppointed with fridge, microwave, tv etc. The furnishings are nice , the bed comfortable and... More

The Oklahoma State Park website does not do this place justice. I just completed a four night stay with a discount from Groupon, and it is worth the cost at the full price rate. Each lodge room has it's own private porch, with two chairs, looking out over a beautiful vista. I can only imagine what the view would be... More

I thought this State Park lodging looked outdated on the internet but was pleasantly surprised. We stayed in a cabin July 2012, and this time a room at the Belle Starr Lodge. The lodge room and cabin were clean. We would stay at either again. While the lodge room furnishings are a bit dated, the cleanliness is more important to... More

this was excellent. the lodge only has 20 rooms. they are in a row, because each has a small patio, in back. each has a view. and what a view. you are on the top of the mountain. there is a mountainside, facing the back of your patio. a small lake is below. there was no moon, the night we... More

The Belle Starr Lodge was a beautiful setting for the wedding I recently attended there. Also the staff were helpful while the decorating and set up were going on. The parking was adequate for the large group and many people could stay on site since there were rooms at the lodge and families could rent cabins. The rooms were clean... More

The state was awesome. Hiking, swimming in the lake or the pool or going on a trail ride are a few things you can do. However, the beds and maid service were horrible. Maid did bother to come in and the shower was moldy. When I asked fro more shampoo, they wanted to sell it to me. So, if you... More
