The front desk person who checked us in gave us an upgrade to their newly remodeled rooms for the amount of the standard room. The rooms are outdated, but clean and quite comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was standard fare, but good enough. Of the three hotels we stayed at on this trip, this was the best. more
Motel is a slum,,, I pulled in to it by accident looking for the Best Western Tade Winds Central.... I was happy that i was at the wrong place.... Booked the room in advance. When I arrived they had given my room away and had no more rooms except for a smoking room over top of some ridiculously loud bar. The staff did not seem to care and did little to make me feel welcome or that they were sorry for messing up. Spent a total of five minutes... more
ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! Rooms stink, ac's don't work. This is a local slum. We booked in at 8 p.m. and were out of there looking for a new hotel before 9 p.m. AND they had the nerve to charge us 77$ for the night!!!!!!!! I stayed at this hotel because my school had a reunion there. We checked in late on a Friday night and the lobby was full of drunks overflowing from the club there and security watching them.
