The best thing about this is the location to midtown and downtown. You never get a second chance to make a first impression - the first impression was the messy front desk, the unorganized hotel clerk and lack of information provided. I had to ask where my room was after she located the keys under a newspaper. The rooms have... more

The rooms are what's great about this hotel. Great, furniture decorations and very well done bathrooms. I would definitely stay here again as each room is a suite with separate sitting rooms and bedrooms. I didn't use the kitchen, but would nice to have for a longer stay -- quality appliances vs. the cheaper hotel-type "kitchenette" set up that one... more

My colleague and I booked rooms here and arrived late (around 10pm). We were alarmed to find a dark parking lot and no one on staff at the hotel. We called the emergency number and were told that our keys were to be found in envelopes in the mail box. This neighborhood is not the greatest and literally anyone could... more

The Savoy is so very close to being "above average". It is just missing a couple of little things - nothing major. In short, a nice botique hotel. The location is fine. The neighborhood is a bit dodgy, but it is convenient to downtown, the hospitals, the Cherry St. district, and the University of Tulsa. The rooms are well furnished... more

Pros: having one's kitchen (with silverware and glasses and a microwave); nice furniture; two TVs in the suite (one in the bedroom and the other in the living room); reliable DSL internet connection; quiet (just a few cars passing by). Cons: the owner is never at the front desk to answer the phone. In a situation like ours, it was... more

While Hotel Savoy is a welcome change to chain hotels, it is no comparison for The Ambassador Hotel in downtown. The road and neighborhood noise is awful and ruined my night of sleep. It reminded me of the scene in "My Cousin Vinny" where he is subject to the whistle of a train. Well, at Hotel Savoy, you too are... more

If you are tired of the "regular" hotels and are looking for something TRULY different, this is the place...Very nicely decorated, impeccably clean, high speed internet and a kitchen...WOW! The Savoy is more like apartment living than a hotel, but don't expect the Grand Hyatt...but for the money it beats the high priced downtown places. more

If you are looking for something different, this is it. Very clean, 2 room set up with a small kitchen, living room and bedroom....like a little apartment, very comfortable for 2. Priced very reasonable! Some antique furnishings too. Not the typical hotel. If you want typical, call Holiday Inn. Very close and convenient for any downtown venue. We would stay... more

I am not a frequent traveler to Tulsa, but after staying at the Savoy, things might just change. There are only seven rooms, and the view of the city and Centennial Park are absolutely amazing. The location...on Peoria avenue, was right outside downtown...only a mile away from tons of restaurants and whatnot. The rooms are huge and the artwork and... more
