I am writing a second review about an earlier stay because of some of the other comments and reviews I have read here and I want to provide more info. I live within walking distance of the hotel. Although I can understand why a stranger to town (or even a Tulsan who lives in the suburbs) might be put off... More

The Campbell is a great boutique hotel if you have to be in Tulsa, especially TU. I stayed in the Golden Hurricane room and loved it except for noise in next room. There was a noisy group in the hotel and the hardwood floors and the thin connecting door meant sound traveled. But on the plus side is a jetted... More

I stayed 2 nights on business. The outside of the hotel looks like a youth hostile, but the inside appeared to be remodeled and decorated nicely. Once I got ready for bed I noticed the pillow sham had black dirt all over it. Then I pulled back the blanket and it was filthy too. It was after midnight so I... More

Thanks for your feedback. I apologize, and have no real defense, other than they were not nasty, they were clean, its just makeup that stained and somehow they got back in rotation to use. This is a fluke. We have a strict protocol. All beds are stripped after a guest checks out. And clean linens must be used. We save... More

This was the most amazing hotel experience I have ever had. I am not typically one to write a review, but I felt like this place deserves one! The entire experience from the amazing room, friendly staff, and great food were far above any expectation that I had. I have stayed at a lot of nice hotels, but this one... More

This hotel was very unique with lots of themed rooms. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to the bridal suite. This room had the wow factor with the bed in the middle of the room and a massive sofa/chaise lounge all along one wall. The big impressive bathroom had a double shower as well as a jacuzzi bath. Breakfast... More

We appreciate the nice words. We are different from most hotels, and haven't been here very long, just 3 years, and it's really great when a happy guest helps us get the word out. Please come back and stay again and again. We look forward to it. Thanks again. Barbara More

This historic hotel has been thoughfully modernized while offering a mid 1900's retro experience. We stayed in the Rose Bowl room, named after a former bowling alley on Rt. 66 and decorated with, among other things, bowling pins. The king bed was very comfortable with good pillows and a bedspread with good weight for those who like to sleep under... More

You said everything for me. I really appreciate it. Hope you come back soon, and let me know you are here, and I will make sure you get French Toast for breakfast. It's my favorite too. Barbara More

I drove past this place and didn't even imagine I had resreved a room based on the TripAdvisor reviews. The neighborhood is marginal, and the structure looks like a rundown old retail building trying to maintain some level of respectability.Well, they are succeeding. The room I stayed in was nice but cosy, not a businessmans corporate layout, but managable. Good... More

I guess quirky may be a good word for us. We are on the National Register of Historic Places. Sometimes people don't understand that means you cannot change the facade of the building, and we have grown to love it the way it is anyway. While restoring all the historical significance, we managed to provide all the modern conveniences, like... More

This review is based on THIS stay. Let me start by saying I love the hotel. It's historic, it's fun, and I will stay again. Still, I must be honest and say exactly what happened when we were here. First, I made my reservation by phone and was told my first choice of a room would be available for only... More

Thanks for the nice review. I apologize for the confusion on the reservation. We had a cancellation for the Route 66 suite and that is why it was empty when you arrived. Had we known you wanted it, it would have been yours. We will do a better job when you come back. Thanks again. Barbara More

On RT. 66, walking distance to University of Tulsa, food and bar, with plenty of parking in the back. This old yet modern hotel, takes one back in time with the decor, hard wood floors, and antiques. The rooms have Wi-Fi, flat screen TV, stylish bath, wet bar with mini-frig, microwave, Keurig, and the clothes closet is large. If a... More
