I had an early flight out of Tulsa last week. This was a good value for a convenient location to stay near the Tulsa airport. I travel ALOT so a comfortable bed and the ability to control the room temperature is essential. The hotel staff were most helpful and friendly. The area is not great but we felt quite secure in the hotel. more
My wife and two children (4 + 7) had a 7:10AM flight out of Tulsa airport and thus needed to spend the night in Tulsa. My in-laws live in Ponca City and I researched the rates/hotels prior to leaving. We were set on the Days Inn as it had a good price + free airport shuttle. When we arrived at the area we liked how the La Quinta looked so decided to stop in to check out the rate/property. In short we HIGHLY recommend this hotel. I'm writing this review on the night we arrived home.
First the hotel is brand new, thus extremely clean. It opened in June 2009. The staff seemed excited about their hotel and were very eager to please. When we checked in we explained our early flight and they were very confident describing that the van would be there at 6AM when we came down to the lobby. They even offered to have breakfast ready a few minutes early as it wasn't scheduled until 6 itself.
