Stayed here for one night when traveling route 66. The hotel has a nice atmosphere, the reception is comfy and has a homelike look. We stayed in a jacuzzi-suite, the room was big and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable, really a great mattress. The hotel is located just of the freeway, 5 minutes from Sayre "downtown". Breakfast was... more

Our room had food on the floor and cockroaches in the room. The bed blanket and coverlet were not clean. Worst of all though, the entire facility was infested with cockroaches of all sizes. Hotel staff refunded our entire payment when we complained. (The right thing) I'll never stay at another one. more

We stayed at this hotel during our Route 66 trip across Oklahoma. This hotel was so nice looking when we checked in, the front desk staff (upon checkin anyway) was great! I liked how all the rooms were named for various parts of Oklahoma history. We were in the Walter Merrick room. The hotel was priced reasonably. First problem, after... more

Had to go to Sayre for business, and this was really the only game in town. What a nice surprise. The hotel is only 5 or so years old, and is very clean and well run. You are right on the old route 66. Not sure what else the area has to offer, but the locals were quite friendly. Very... more

What a nice surprise. Very clean and friendly. Better than average breakfast bar. Wish there was an AmericInn everywhere I had to stay. more

Reasonable price for a property in the middle of a drilling boom town. Nice staff and management. Comfortable furnishings. Thin walls telegraphed all of the activities in the next room, fortunately ending early. more

Passing through Sayre and just needed a place to stay. The woman at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. Room was large and very clean. Thought it was going to be noisy because we heard voices from the next room, but it wasn't (they do guarantee a quiet room or something!). Had no idea what to expect, never... more

We stayed here on a cross-country trip to avoid staying on the Texas panhandle. The service at check-in was extremely friendly. The room was clean and named after a rodeo horse. The pool looked nice, though we didn’t use it. There was a huge spread at breakfast. Our only complaint would be with the lack of service and taste at... more
