The staff was friendly and the room was clean. The lobby area and breakfast areas were also clean and well-maintained. Our room was clean and the furniture looked new. I noticed some minor "problems" -- such as their using white paint to do touch-up painting on off-white walls. But that didn't disturb my sleep or my visit! :) The price... more

I was on a road trip from California to New York and had a scheduled stop at Oklahoma City. I called Microtel at MacArthur Rd after reading a favorable article in USA Today about Microtel. I booked this hotel since it was indicated to be in the Meridian Hospitality district. It was also indicated to be an airport hotel and close enough to downtown and the city. Be forewarned!!! My husband and I stayed at the Microtel for 3 nights, June 24, 25, 26, 2004. The room was clean but I saw 2 bugs. The air-conditioner worked very good. The room was quiet. The pool and hot tub started out clean at the beginning of the stay but by Saturday night was gritty and dirty. They must clean them... more
