The Renaissance OKC Convention Center isn't a bad hotel, but the little problems added up and snowballed during my stay in May 2008. First, when we checked in, they were remodelling the lobby. The main check-in area was closed and there was the smell of chemicals and dust as workers were stripping the floor. When we booked online, there was... more

Hotel is fine except that they have motion sensors that regulate the A/C thermostat. This means the A/C turns off at night while you are sleeping. Unless you like to sleep and take a shower without air conditioning, I would not recommend this hotel. I inquired with front desk and was told nothing could be done about the sensor system... more

Recently stayed here because of its close proximity to the start of the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon. Good: Valet, front desk and conceire staff were all friendly, helpful and nice, good crew of folks. Room was good sized, clean, quiet, and a fridge. But $4 for a bottle of water, are you kidding me? Location. Bricktown (dining, drinking, movies, Bass... more

We spent a Saturday night at this hotel and it was really nice. Very quiet, large bathroom, and the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in (even better than the Heavenly Bed!). Friendly staff. Great location just a short walk from the Bricktown area. The breakfast buffet was excellent (although not included). We had originally planned to stay at the... more

We arrived in Oklahoma City and were greeted at the Renaissance Hotel by a very friendly bellboy. Being a Texas Longhorn in Oklahoma Sooner territory, we were hesitant. But this guy was great. The young lady at the front desk was extremely friendly and quickly checked us in. We were with friends and she was easily able to grant our... more

Generally i don't give a bad review easily but this hotel experience & staff made me do that. Only Good things i found: * Bed comfort. * fitness center is ok. Now the reality: the hotel is old and needs refurbishment. so it's a motel sold at hotel prices. staff's attitude is worse - some of the staff just work... more

The hotel is beautiful and convenient to the Cox Convention Center via a Skybridge. The rooms were spacious, well-appointed, and comfortable. We found the staff to be very friendly and eager to accomodate any requests. The hot tub, dry sauna, and indoor pool were just the right temperature. We didn't use the fitness center or the spa, but might have... more

My family stayed at this hotel on the way to Kansas City, so we could go in to Bricktown for the evening. One of the hotel staff used their card key to enter our room and stole my daughters MP3 player and my sons PSP system, games and case. The managers did a search on the room in the computers... more

Dates of stay: Aug. 13-16, 2007 My mother and I go on annual vacations together. This year we went to Oklahoma City. We found a great deal for this hotel on Priceline and couldn't pass it up. The hotel is in heart of down town. 2 blocks east from Bricktown, a popular shopping and dinning district and a short hike... more
