Stayed 2 nights for a softball tournament in Okmulgee, all hotels in that town were sold out. This motel is directly off of Interstate 40 and gets mostly Interstate traffic. Paid $53.00 for one night and was informed AFTER my credit card was taken and charged that the a/c unit can not be turned above low cool, on a day when the temp was over 95 degrees. Stayed here night of July 11, 2005. At $38.00 for a standard room a good value in today's motel market. The room was small and clean with adequate furnishings for an overnight stay. Office staff was friendly and helpful. Hungry Traveler restaurant across the Interstate offers good food at a fair price. more
