Stayed 2 nights here to tour the surrounding area and to visit the Alabaster Cavern and the Selman Bat Watch which is put on by the Oklahoma Wildlife Department. I recently stayed in Freedom for a family matter. The owners could not have been more gracious or offered more hospitality. The lodge rooms are clean, very spacious and authentically furnished, the food in the restaurant/bar was great, as were the drinks and company. Highly rated!

If you're planning a trip to Alabastar Caverns, this is THE place to overnight! Comfy, quiet, clean and convenient (right on the premise of the Caverns). The decor is rustic and beautiful. A great place right outside Alabaster Caverns State Park near Freedom (for guided cave tours and wild caving) and a relatively short drive from the selenite crystal digging area at the Salt Plains near Cherokee, Oklahoma.
