Me and my wife have stayed here a few times when the hard rock casino rooms are full. It is not necessarily nice in any way, but every time I have stayed the rooms are clean and in good shape. If you plan on visiting the casino and just need a place to crash after this hotel is fine. I... More

Our room was very disgusting, from bugs to mold not only on the bathroom tiles, but also black mold on the ceiling and all over the bathroom. I highly discourage anyone from staying at this Inn. The only reason we stayed there was beause the Hard Rock was booked up on Friday night and we had a room for Saturday only.... More

Look, you have 2 choices on this property, either pay $139+/night at Hard Rock and its going to be nice and clean and somewhat fancy, or pay around $50/night at the Cherokee and its obviously not going to be as nice. My wife and I have gone to the Hard Rock many times, about year ago we tried to make... More

I am hosting a family reunion in Aug 2011 and have booked several rooms at both Hard Rock and Cherokee. I previewed the rooms in Aug 2010 and was satisfied with what I saw. I recently received a call from a family member about the two negative review comments. I decided to go and take another look at the rooms.... More

The Cherokee Inn is mainly for truckers and people who cannot necessarily afford the Hard Rock room rates. The Inn used to be the super 8 and has been there for at least 20 years, so a housekeeper cannot really "deep clean" the rooms. So all in all you get what you pay for and really before you people judge... More

We stayed here on our way out to Missouri over Thanksgiving. It's less than average, but certainly not as terrible as described by the two other reviewers. We used to stay here when it was a Super 8 and I don't recall it being rundown or anything. It's right off the highway and very convenient if you're coming through town... More

Nasty. There was mold on the ceiling. The toilet tank was missing the top and they had some weird piece of plastic covering it that we had to lift each time to get the flush handle. The drain in the tub had been ripped out, leaving sharp jagged metal exposed. The shower itself wouldn't switch from bath to shower so... More

The rooms are seedy. Dirty, smelly and clearly haven't been deep cleaned forever. The room was noisy and it is clear that Hard Rock (which owns this adjacent property) doesn't care at all about it. Really pathetic.
