We were greeted with picturesque views that abounded from every angle; from our winding drive to the Lodge, and thru the windows from our well kept suite. If there were anything lacking, it would have been access to the shore line and boating because of the record amount of rain the area received prior to our arrival. Nevertheless, we are going to return again this fall and hopefully get on the lake with a boat this time. Dining was easy to find around the area and into the small city of Broken Bow. Several wonderful surprises were found on our travels in the area. There is a sea food establishment on the south side of Broken Bow that provided a little different atmosphere, but the food was fabulous! If you want to see a movie, there is a theater that is about two miles south of Broken Bow on the east side of the highway. I would give out names of the restaurant and movie house, but the adventure of finding these places may not be as rewarding. Over all a four-and-one half stars out... more
