I traveled to Yellow Springs to visit my daughter at college. This is a old motor inn like used to be typical along any two-lane highway in the 1950's, before interstates. The rooms are small, but clean and well kept. The management is friendly and service oriented. Guests sit outside in the evenings and chat among themselves. I thoroughly enjoyed... More

Recently stayed here and from the moment I checked in, they made me feel so welcomed and cared for, almost like a family member that had come to visit. Everyone I met there was so friendly and helpful! My room was super clean and very comfortable, I was traveling with my dog and a parrot and there was a nice... More

I really enjoyed my stay at the Springs Motel and appreciate all of the small touches that are seen throughout the property. The manager was friendly and accommodating and all of the outdoor areas were extremely inviting. The location was just outside the town and had a great view at sunset. It would be great to visit again.

The owners have taken a run down place and are restoring it as fast as their budget will allow. In the meantime they are providing a CLEAN place with lots of amenities. When we checked in the person on duty offered to make us a fresh pot of coffee and asked if there was anything we needed. We were there... More

My wife and I have stayed at The Springs Motel several times in the past but this past weekend was a special one. We rented out the entire motel for 2 nights to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Kat the owner was very nice and was excited to host our weekend. She pointed out the recent improvements of new windows... More

Just stayed there last night. Room 9, Tex Mex themed room. Very clean, comfortable, awesome staff. It really is like staying with family. Jake and Kat couldn't have been friendlier, or more helpful. Tell me where else you can stay and have a hammock and a fire pit, which Jake started for us, marshmallows provided! For breakfast, you fill your... More

Stayed at this treasure on the Little Miami Trail this week. OK, it's probably 70 years old, rooms are small. But this place is a blast. Clean, good AC great coffee. Neat gazebo and fire pit. Nice bike locking area

My partner and I have been coming to Yellow Springs at frequent intervals over the last 4-5 years to enjoy John Bryan State Park, Clifton Gorge, Glen Helen and other local hikes, but this was our first experience staying overnight; it won’t be our last! We had driven past The Springs before on other trips, and I was always curious.... More

I believe my extended stay allowed me to meet and have brief exchanges with all there and am confident any traveler would take note of the sunny disposition the Springs exudes. All involved in the care and management of the Springs are incredibly kind, accommodating and hard-working. This motel is situated in an extremely quiet area, has expansive grounds and... More
