The Wooster Inn typifies the "college inn" establishment. It's on the edge of the Wooster College campus and is a friendly, comfortable place to stay. The staff is friendly. The rooms are small and a bit antiquated (if there's one with a decent shower, we have yet to find it), but comfortable and cozy. Breakfasts are a rather standard "continental... More

Extremely disappointing, ordered Wellington with pesto sauce and it came out smothered in marinara and was cold. Will not return better places to go in town. Server was pleasant and I felt awful for her because it was out of her hands,

Say in the main dining room looking out over the golf course. The drinks and dinner were excellent. Have been here twice and it is a treat. The vegan meat loaf I got was really good! Good beers on tap along with great service. Can't go wrong dining out here.

To start, be aware that the Wooster Inn is historic, which means that it does not have all the amenities that you may expect. It is delightfully quirky with small rooms in odd configurations, but it is the best inn in Wooster. There are, of course, newer, cheaper options, but none of the chains have half the character! The food... More

This hotel is linked with Wooster College. Pardon my use of "linked", but it is an appropriate term since the hotel adjoins the college's golf course. The inn itself is not of the modern mode. The rooms are small--especially the restrooms--but clean and with the expected amenities of plush towels, fine soaps, and comfortable beds. There are rooms on the... More

Came back for a stay at this wonderful cozy inn. It is nestled in wonderful green ex pastures now golf course. Ever view is lovely and through the new management this once dry inn now has new bars, wonderful patios, a new retail wine shop worthy of a look. The rooms are vintage but i find that very inviting in... More

We stayed a long while ago at the Wooster Inn, located on the edge of the College of Wooster Campus. It is a perfect location if you are visiting the campus. The inn itself, has some downsides. The rooms, and bathrooms are very dated, though clean. The mattresses in our room were definitely in need of replacement. The bedding is... More

This is my hometown, though I now live in PA, so I've never had occasion to stay here. Now back for a family gathering and we're all at the Inn. It is on the edge of the campus of The College of Wooster, is a lovely building from the outside. We have a queen room upstairs (no elevators). While looking... More

My husband and I stopped for a late lunch on a rainy afternoon and enjoyed a Grilled Vegetable Provolone Panini and a Steak Haystack sandwich. The house made waffle chips are to die for! Server was well trained and made good recommendations. The newly installed bar in the main dining room adds a little updating to a classic dining room.

This is a gracious old hotel situated on a golf course adjacent to Wooster College. The setting is lovely, as are the lobby and dining room. The guest rooms are rather small and dated (and by dated, I mean "out-dated", not charming period pieces). We stayed in July and the corridor to our room smelled very musty. Due to high... More
