My husband & I were a little leary about this hotel after reading some of the reviews. We found the complaints not true during our stay. The room was clean. I enjoyed my one week stay with my family and dog. Nice, clean, quiet, and kept up well. The pool was small, but very clean and that says a lot! I slept well and was not bothered. more

Stayed at the AmeriHost for a family wedding-- a block of rooms were reseved for $72 a night. It was OK, but I am used to 4 star hotels, so it is definitely all relative. Hotel is overpriced for condition. I paid $89 for one night in May 2006. Wallpaper is peeling in hallways, exterior door (supposed to be locked with room key only access) was broken, allowing anyone to enter at any time; other exterior door lock deactivated.
