I have traveled the country, staying in hotels from the Motel 6 to the Ritz Carlton. This is by far the worst experience I have had to date. After traveling almost 500 miles for a weekend visit with family, we arrived at the Comfort Inn in Wheelersburg, OH. Air conditioning doesn't work properly. Shower alternates between scarlding hot and frigid cold with nothing in between. Hot tub party and luggage throwing contest upstairs..continuing until 6:00 AM. BED BUGS! Or Bugsin the Bed! As I tried to fall asleep, bugs in the corner of the bed/comforter leave itchy, red welts on my legs. I didn't sleep as strangers bang on the window twice (3 or 4 AM) and the door once. The back door of the hotel is never locked and people come and go all night long. Unresponsive management. I wouldn't recommend this place to my dog. Filthy, rude and unsafe. more
