Nicely furnished, clean, comfortable suite. Walking distance to restaurants downtown. Recommend suites towards the back of the property due to traffic noise in the front of the inn( due to location on the main highway through town). Good location - would definitely stay here again.

A gem. Owner Richard Colvin opened the Scioto Inn July 2011, after a well thought-out renovation of this lovely Victorian residence. We are Manhattanites who've been coming to central Ohio for 30 years (family) and this was our first stay at the Scioto Inn. How I wish the Inn had been open as long as we've been coming! It's really... More

We stayed at the Scioto Inn for 2 nights when we had a last minute weekend to ourselves. The Inn would be an outstanding bed and breakfast if it served breakfast. Our room (actually a 2-room suite) was roomy, comfortable, quiet, and well-appointed. Breakfast was a non-issue as there is a very nice coffee shop - though limited menu -... More

Great place. Totally worth it and I'll be recommending it (like now). Whomever remodeled this place really put some time and money into it. It's close to restaurants and shops. Cool old town. Not far from i70.

I am not complaining, Rick is a great Host/ owner, just a couple suggestions. It is certainly convenient to everything we wanted to do. Will return ! One more thing, you need a bath matt... More

The Scioto Inn is a comfortable, clean and attractive choice in an area with very limited options, in terms of pleasant and appealing accomodations. This is unfortunately true of Urbana as well as the other nearby towns. Each room at the inn is actually an upscale suite, and each one is a bit different. There was ample space with a... More

We stayed at the Scioto Inn in mid-July. The accommodations were very comfortable, and looked very new. It was situated within walking distance of many restaurants and stores. We were visiting family, and we were able to walk to their home. Loved the balcony, very pleasant place to sit and read. The off-street parking was convenient too. Our only issue... More

This inn was a GREAT place to stay in downtown Urbana. Every room is a suite with its own unique character. The furnishings are attractive and high-quality. There is plenty of space, which makes a long-term stay desirable, rather than merely tolerable. My colleagues and I enjoyed it thoroughly. Best feature: the balconies all over the building! The innkeeper (Rich)... More
