I enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Seagate. It is moderately priced for downtown Toledo. Yes, the building is a little older and has that older building smell but for the price and the location it was acceptable. The rooms and linens were clean. The bathroom was clean and everything worked. The staff did their job well. The security was... more

I had read the negative reviews that were already posted . In Toledo to attend a game at Fifth Third Park i took my chances . Parking is below the Hotel and I thought a bit overpriced . I was met at the desk by a clerk who smiled and checked me in . Yes this could have been a... more

At check-in the staff at the front desk were using space heaters on top of the desk. Their explanation was that there was no heat in the front lobby due to renovations. It was 16 degrees outside. My room looked ok except for a ball of hair in the toilet. I dropped off my bags and headed out for six... more

This place was pretty terrible. The pool, restaurant, and fitness center were all closed for "renovations." The rooms were filthy, along with the whole hotel. There was hair in our sink when we got there, no heat .. even though it was freezing out, and the shower was messed up as well! The ceilings were falling in in our room... more

This was the most disgusting place that I have ever stayed in. The floor looked like it had never been vacuumed before. The walls were stained as they had obviously never been cleaned before. The shower head was so crusted with filth that it was unusable. The towels were discolered and dirty. We were afraid to walk around with no... more

The hotel was located right downtown, connected to the Convention Center, so the parking garage was located right under us. It was right around the corner from the Fifth Third Field where the Toledo Mudhens play which was nice. The hotel is old, the rooms were half the price of the adjacent Park Inn. The first night, there was no... more

First I need to say that I live in Toledo and this hotel is a true embarassment to my city. My husband and I spent the night here to attend a party at the Event Center for New Years Eve. It was absolutely filth, the lampshades were stained and dirty, the room was smelly, the bathroom was dirty and there... more

This place was a dump! We were in town for a wedding and reception which took place at the hotel next door, the Park Inn. For only a few dollars more, I wish we would have stayed there instead. When we checked in, the front desk clerk was out in front of the hotel having a cigarette and we had... more

This hotel was truly awful. We were in Toledo for a wedding. I've never been so disgusted with a hotel in my life. From the moment we walked in until the time we checked out--I felt like I was in a horror movie. The photos on their website are a complete misrepresentation. I can't believe this hotel has not been... more

Wow, I dont know what to do? I am booked at the Hotel Seagate, the hotel looks nice from the picture, but with all the reviews I have read, I am truly afraid what Im going to find. We are booked to go there in July for a wedding. the worst part of all this is that I booked first... more
