We had a wonderful experience at the Casey-Pomeroy House. John and Cindy were very gracious and made sure we felt welcome and that we had everything that we needed. You can tell that the house has had a lot of restoration work done, the completed part is beautiful. The only thing I would change is to update the website and... More

Hi Guys, thanks for the nice review. We enjoyed having you as our guests and sharing the history of the house with you. Thanks for mentioning the need for an On Line Reservation system. Your not alone in that area. It appears that about 30% of reservations are made through an OLR. We are reviewing the many options and will... More

Invited to speak at an event in downtown Toledo, I quickly realized it would be slim pickings. The two riverfront mid-rise hotels near the convention center seemed to have little going for them when I read the reviews and less when I saw them in person. So I took a chance on The Casey-Pomeroy House. And you should too, except... More

Thanks John for the great review. Cindy and I enjoyed talking with you and your interesting background. We are still working on small projects, so next time you visit, there should be more improvements. Let us know if you get back this way. Thanks again Ron More

Our room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Both bedroom and bathroom were enormous. Lots of nice, thick towels. The house is very interesting and clearly has had some TLC. The woman who served as hostess (not the owner) was a bit abrupt. We called about 20 minutes before arriving to say we'd be a bit later than the time we... More

Thank you so very much for your detail review of your stay at the Casey Pomeroy House. Since almost all the reviews of CPH are very positive, we appreciate your notation of these areas where we could have performed better. We have updated our kitchen check list to make sure we always have a choice of non-dairy substitutes for your... More

I really hate to write a less than glowing review, especially since the innkeepers were so nice. We approached this bed & breakfast from the north and passed a blue-light police camera which, in our own city, are found in high-crime areas. The B&B was about four blocks south of this, and we had second thoughts about staying. Once inside,... More

This was a beautiful old, Victorian home. We stayed in the largest room and it was so spacious and comfortable. It is the biggest room we have ever stayed in at a B & B. The breakfast was very tasty and the staff very courteous. We even met a nice couple at breakfast and invited them to our home the... More

We were in Toledo mid-September for a wedding at the Greek church across the street from the Casey-Pomeroy House. The reception was a few minutes away at the Glass Pavilion. Although Sue, the owner does work a day job, we received a courtesy phone call shortly before we arrived and she was there to greet us. After checking in she... More

We stayed in the suite on the top floor. It was very nice and had many period furnishings. We had a very large private bath with a shower and large free standing tub. Shower was good. The water pressure and temp of the tub was poor and made it unusable. By the time tub was partiallly full water was cold.... More

We stayed at this B&B during a quick trip to Toledo in September. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for a unique experience in a home with lots of history as long as you are okay with a neighborhood in transition. When we first arrived we thought we were at the wrong address as... More

We were in Toledo with family for a Memorial Service for three nights. Ten of us were able to rent the whole house (5 bedrooms) and were so glad we did. Sue made us feel at home. She gave us a tour of the house and talked about the many projects they have done over the past eleven years to... More

We stayed there last night, for an evening to get away and relax. The house is a former mansion, that has been restored and converted into a bed and breakfast. It has been beautifully and lovingly restored, with an ambiance of relaxation and elegance. The house looks period with antique furniture and decorations, but with amazing modern amenities (i.e. showers,... More
