We were in Toledo with family for a Memorial Service for three nights. Ten of us were able to rent the whole house (5 bedrooms) and were so glad we did. Sue made us feel at home. She gave us a tour of the house and talked about the many projects they have done over the past eleven years to... More

We stayed there last night, for an evening to get away and relax. The house is a former mansion, that has been restored and converted into a bed and breakfast. It has been beautifully and lovingly restored, with an ambiance of relaxation and elegance. The house looks period with antique furniture and decorations, but with amazing modern amenities (i.e. showers,... More

We had a wonderful weekend staying at the Casey-Pomeroy House. My husband and I visited friends in town and this B&B was recommended to us. The house is beautiful and charmingly decorated. Our room and bed were very comfortable and we enjoyed our lovely breakfast. We will return soon! Highly recommend!!!

really enjoyed staying here - the owner, Sue, was very welcoming and friendly. Learnt about lots of interesting things to see and do in Toledo from her. Great breakfast. Immaculately decorated rooms with modern facilities throughout. It was a treat for my wife - and she loved it : ) This historic building is so interesting and it has clearly... More

I had the pleasure of staying at the Casey-Pomeroy while I was on business in Toledo. I am so glad that I found this charming place along with the owners, Sue and Stu. I felt at home from the minute I walked through the door. It was a chilly afternoon and I was offered a cup of tea to warm... More

My experience was pretty awful. The owner was not on site during the day. The room was ice cold in the middle of winter. Even the space heater was insufficient to heat the room. Granted, the ceilings are high, but nonetheless it remains the responsibility of the B & B to be able to provide adequate heat. The halls were... More

Thank you for the additional feedback. As I responded to the other review from your family member, we appreciate your input and the fact that you allowed us to accommodate you for 5 nights when you were obviously so unhappy. We will try harder the next time. More

There are few upscale choices for lodging in Toledo, even though it is a wonderful city. After my overnight at The Casey-Pomeroy, it is clearly a magnificent exception. The wonderful historic home provides such luxury, beauty, and amazing suites. I was impressed with the details, the antique furniture, how clean it all was. I had great internet, large flat screen... This is not a B & B, but a poorly run multi-purpose facility. The rooms, are dark, very cold, and dingy. Internet service was promised and there was none. There was a hole in the window of my mother's room and she caught a cold. Heating was very inadequate and two rooms were actually freezing. Water pressure was poor, and... More

Thank you for your feedback; we appreciate all guest input. We also thank you for staying with us for 5 entire nights when you were obviously so unhappy and had other hotel options just blocks away from the B&B. As you can tell from the many "excellent" reviews we have received, we strive to make every guest experience a good... More

My fiancé and I recently embarked on a 30 day road trip, covering 8,600 miles. The Casey-Pomeroy House was our first stop. Although we unfortunately arrived later than expected, we found ourselves in a beautifully restored mansion, with kind hosts and one of the most delicious breakfasts of the trip. Truly gorgeous, the owners have done a remarkable job with... More

This was the highlight of our 8-days cross-country trip. I agree with most of the reviewers. This is a wonderful hotel with plenty of character, large and tastefully decorated rooms, excellent service and abundant amenities. Breakfast was very good, as well. Toledo is not, perhaps, the most memorable place to visit, but this House makes your trip memorable. We stayed... More
