This hotel was clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a family friendly hotel and it is out in the country with beautiful scenery around it. They had an Easter Egg hunt for all the kids while we were there and in the afternoon cookies and popcorn. I would highly recomend this hotel and we will... more

My husband and I just spent a night at the Carlisle Inn in Sugarcreek, OH, on the spur of the moment. We hadn't planned to stay all night, but brought our things "just in case". The Carlisle didn't disappoint! We walked in to see if they had a vacant room, and as soon as I saw the lobby, I whispered... more

We've stayed at the Carlisle Inn many times since its opening, and we've been very happy every time. However our last stay was a bit of a disappointment. The rooms are still lovely and very clean. The check-in desk was efficient and friendly. The big disappointment was the breakfast. The only Amish type bakery was stale cinnamon rolls which was... more

I can't begin to say how nice the "Carlisle Village Inn" is-- it's clean, beautifully decorated, expecially at Christmas time, and the employees are wonderful. It's like being at home, except I don't have to make the bed, clean or do the laundry. We've celebrated our birthdays, anniversaries, and our vacations at both of the Carlisle's, and we love them... more

I am writing this review as I sit on my balcony of the Carlisle Inn. The sun is setting over the new green spring fields and there is a warm breeze. My husband & I just had the best meal at the dining establishment associated with the inn. We did not plan on stopping here but we decided to take... more

My husband and I have stayed at this Inn at least once a year ever since it opened. Before it opened, we stayed at the Carlisle Inn in Walnut Creek, Ohio. They are both awesome............... We have been coming to the Amish country for the last eight years and always make reservations at the Carlisle Inn. We wouldn't think of... more

Our hotel was awesome and so nice for the price. You never expect to find such a nice hotel in the middle of the Ohio countryside. I have stayed a fancy-pants places with rooms a quarter of the size our "standard room". In fact, I think our room was about the square footage of my whole apartment. There was an... more

My wife and I like to get away once a year for 6-8 days to someplace different. We decided this trip to go to the Amish area of Holmes County Ohio and after reading positive reviews on Trip Advisor we decided to stay at the Carlisle Inn Sugarcreek. Just from the outside appearance alone we knew this was going to... more

We loved the Carlisle. We will definitely stay there the next time we go to Amish country. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We had our almost 2 year old with us and the crib was set up and waiting for us when we arrived. We slept great there. They had plenty... more
