The electric mill, third mill om the site, has been converted to a charming Inn. Each room is unique, each has a balcony. A light breakfast is provided. Dinner is home-cooked with local produce and baked goods. It is restful hearing the water over the spillway...and watching the lock in operation. Great for a week-end away!

My family of 14 and I had 1:30 reservations on Mother's Day. There was so much that was horrible I'm not sure where to start. The temperature inside had to be 80 or more degrees, we were told that it was so hot because the dining room was full however our vent wasn't blowing any air out. It was actually... More

My husband and I stayed here in April 2015 for our 20th Wedding anniversary. I love the historic charm of the Inn and the view of the dam and river. We got the Sweetheart package and enjoyed the continental breakfasts and dinners in the dining room. The first night our waitress was okay but not great and the second night... More

We stayed at the Inn on February 27th and we were stunned by the rustic charm of the building (inside and out). We were greeted warmly by Dottie who made us feel right at home. The room we stayed in (303) took our breath away. The exposed wood, the decor, the jacuzzi, and of course the view were more than... More

we stayed at the historic mill inn on January 17, 2015, the place is amazing, we were on the 3rd floor in a king suite, the view of the muskingam river was great. we were on the 3rd floor, you had to walk as there was no elevator, but it wasn't that bad, there was a alternate stairs that were... My husband saw this restored mill from the Muskingum River while fishing with a friend and then surprised me by booking it for our New Year's Eve. Since we're not really into the party life, we were very pleased with the inn. It was decorated beautifully for the holidays and could tell that lots of effort goes into the atmosphere.... More

I found this hotel on-line while researching accommodations for a trip back to Ohio to visit with family and friends. I liked that the hotel was on the river and right on the dam and I felt the sound of the water would be very therapeutic. We were not disappointed as all these elements do exist and were present, reflected... More

The restaurant at the Stockport Mill Inn serves dinner only on the weekends (Fri & Sat), and the breakfast, while tasty, is very limited (hard-boiled egg, commercially prepared breakfast bars, a slice or two of locally produced baked goods, fresh whole banana, apple or orange). While I enjoyed my stay at the Stockport Mill Inn very much, I've led with... More

While touring the southern Ohio countryside on our Harleys, my husband and I stumbled upon the Mill. We were pleasantly surprised by our find along the river. The Inn is very quaint and is overflowing with history and character. Our second floor room had small balcony overlooking the Muskingum River. Listening to water rushing over the dam while enjoying the... More

An unexpected oasis nestled in a quaint little town. Not your run of the 'mill' inn. Every little crack and crevice oozes character, from the 100-year-old exposed beams to the original hard wood floors. The most pleasant surprise was the dining experience, the food is fresh, homemade, exceptionally tasty, and the menu offers something for everyone. The staff are polite... More
