We rented a cabin over the New Year's holiday. There were rodent droppings under the sink and the main cushion on the couch was very dirty under the slip cover. We left shortly after geting there. The park issued us a full refund.

We had made many wonderful memories at Buck Creek. We have camped there, we have stayed in the cabin, had picnics and hiking the trails. We love to go out a couple times a week and just walk the area. It is beautiful.

We have been camping for years and this was our 1st visit to Buck Creek. What a pleasant surprise. We had site 37 with a pop-up. It was a little bit from the bathroom but it was doable. Our site was 3 down from the path to the camper beach. It was so pretty. It was a windy day and... More

This is a beautiful place! In the morning I walked down to a secluded area by the beach and everything was filled with mist. I could not see the other side of the lake but a few boats here and there of fishing folks gave me perspective. It was wonderful. The evening before there were deer in the prairie on... More

We stayed in the electric campground in our travel trailer from Thursday night to Sunday. It was a great time. We stayed at site 20 and there is a path to a very small but private beach. Bathrooms were are ok. Great close to home vacation! We will return!

We have a small trailer, and out of the places within an hour of Columbus, Buck Creek is the best campground. I love that all the sites are close to water, and SO MANY REDWING BLACKBIRDS!!!!! The tiny camper beach is perfect for early morning yoga too!

We used to love going here and always stayed in Cabin 12. Last time there we saw a bed bug and both of us had bites. We had to throw out most of our things because we did not want to risk taking them home with us.

The cabins need updating and better pots & pans but the four of us had a great time. Our card club had a "girl's weekend" to celebrate our thirty-eighth anniversary. The television was nice and we took walks in between rain showers.

We held a birthday party "camp" sleepover in one if the cottages. This place is GREAT! Cottages are perfect, clean, and comfortable. Fire ring behind cottage (bring your own firewood) and large playground area added to the fun. The kids had a great time and the park is beautiful. This park is a short drive to everything in Springfield. Great... More

Having stayed at cabins at Mohican, Punderson and Caesar's Creek, I know what to expect when I rent at Ohio State Parks. Buck Creek cabins need some TLC. The park was full of campers and all the cabins were rented. We rented pet friendly cabin 1 to spend the long weekend hiking with our border collies. Pet friendly accommodations aren't... More
