We had an awesome time here. This was the first time we had ever been to hocking hills and we first went to the sate park but they were booked, So thats how we came to find this place. We were in a small rv and got there a bit late, at first they said they were booked but flagged... More

So in a pinch I booked a weekend getaway with this campground. It was about the only place I could find available for the weekend we were able to go. We booked the Ash resort cabin and after booking I read the reviews and became slightly worried, but told myself it'd work out, it's a campground cabin and it probably... More

We stayed in the Acorn cabin last weekend. The cabin was very attractive when built but numerous poor repairs marred its good looks. This cabin was advertised to sleep 10 and we had 7, There were 4 dining chairs and living room had seating for 4, so even with buffet dining someone would be on the floor. The description says... This place has so much potential, and may have been great 10 years ago. The staff needs to be changed, and if they are the owners, then the place needs new owners. We stayed in October. The office hours were 10:00 am to 3:30 pm, which is also the only time the Wifi worked....as long as you didn't have an... More

To sum it up: The cabin was adequate and met our needs for the most part, but I'm not sure I'd stay there again. The good features were as follows: The cabin is located very close to some great hiking trails and caves so it was nice to be able to 'stop in' between activities and refresh. The cabin is... More

My husband and I planned on a 4 night get away, hoping for a romantic cabin in the woods. Unfortunately we didn't see the reviews prior to out trip. I was a little suspicious when I saw the sign in the office that said; absolutely no refunds. We we arrived at Ash cabin the outside looked OK. When we opened the... More

I have stayed here twice this Summer with two different groups. The first was with husbands and kids. The second was all ladies. Both times were very enjoyable. It is a very quiet peaceful place. The only real noise is from the game room so you may not want to be right next door. We stayed in the lodge and... More

We stayed here for three nights with a hybrid travel trailer. For $42 a night with electric and water, we were expecting a nicer site. Ours was basically on a hill and quite small. Luckily the campground was half empty so we had some sense of privacy. While the manager/owner (guy running around on the golf cart) was very nice,... More

When we pulled in we got a different site than what was quoted in our email confirmation, which i didn't think too much about it, until they gave us a tent site (when we had a pop up camper) - we could barely fit or was hardly accessible to even park it. The staff were not very friendly. There was... More

First impression was the cabin was not as bad as some of the reviews I had seen. Yes it's very dated but it appeared clean and there was no sign of insects or mice that their other cabin seemed to have. The Jacuzzi looked very old and we did not use it but 2 bathrooms had serviceable showers which was... More
