Camp Sandusky bills itself as the "Cabin Capital of Ohio." Hundreds of little (approx. 12'x12') cabins lined up in rows that resemble a miniature WW2 Army training center. (Think Fort Jackson, SC). I peeked inside through a Dutch door and saw a bunk bed and a regular bed along with a small fridge. Some appear to have an air conditioner.... More

used a Groupon for a rental cabin: it's the basic utilitarian building in the picture. they are well maintained but packed in like sardines and located right on an e-way. not much for camping ambiance. however, the bathroom/showers were very clean and the grounds well patrolled. pool and play areas seemed very nice unfortunately it was too cold to enjoy... We went for a 3 day weekend with our 2 teenage daughters. The grounds are clean as well as the showers. Nice playground for young kids and we liked the volleyball and basketball ball court. The cabin was hot but you can rent a fan cheap and it was fine. Mattresses were not very comfortable and curfew is not enforced... More

I wanted to book a campsite for the weekend but had a few questions I wanted answered before I paid for the trip. I called and was put on hold for 15 minutes and when they finally came back on the line I was asked if I could call back later because they were "swamped up front." Now that is... More

really enjoyed it as we were in town to go to Cedar Point for two days. used a Groupon so it was very economical and a fun alternative. the cabin was basic but clean. no problem with the bathrooms. we have no complaints.

Just stayed in a cabin last weekend with my son and daughter. The cabin was a perfect alternative to a hotel. You get what you pay for, but the price was right. I liked being abke to have a campfire with my kids without having to rough it in a tent. Restrooms were basic but clean. My kids loved the... More

My boyfriend and I got bedbugs from staying here. The bites literally covered my entire body including my face. I called and told the owner what happened and asked for a refund. He was extremely rude. He couldn't refund my money because it is not "hotel policy" to refund for bedbugs. After some research, I find this to be a... More

We stayed here as we could not get into the Cedar Point campground. It was o.k. Camp store was very limited. We got one of the double site which gave you more room. It was by the pool so a lot of folks decided since it was a big site they could just walk through even when we were sitting... More

My wife and I just aren't up to tent camping rigors anymore, but still really enjoy (as a change of pace) "camping" outdoors with our grandkids, seeing young families at play on playgrounds, playing cards on a picnic table, sharing stories around a campfire, making s'mores, and having a pancake breakfast under a pavillion while the morning dew is still... Gosh, people are ridiculously picky on these reviews... If you're expecting the Ritz camping style, this is not the place for you. Go down by the marina and camp there. Cabins were fine sized, for storage as well. Had a picnic table and fire ring at every site. My son and I had a cabin with AC and a fridge.... More
