Our scout troop was supposed to tent camp...but upon arrival, the rain was ponding the entire camping area. Charles was generous and gave us all cabins so that we could have a great and DRY experience. The boys Loved the pancake breakfast too!

I am reposting this review due to the fact I did not proofread the first one. People seem to complain about the train this is a city it's not the campgrounds fault. It does not say hotel/resort out front. We have stayed in this campground many times this place is good and you save hundreds over Cedar Point prices or... More

We arrived late at night planning to camp but with the torrential downpour we requested a cabin which they let us upgrade to at a discounted rate the first night and for free the second night. Sound didnt travel around the campground well so it felt like we were there alone, we were even one row behind a group of... More

Camp Sandusky is very close to Cedar Point which is nice after a long day of thrill rides. Staff is friendly and helpful. Check in was easy. Booked using a Groupon with no trouble at all. Nice amenities such as close proximity to rest rooms, showers, and unfortunately the highway. Traffic made it hard to sleep but cabins were nicely... More

We travel to Camp Sandusky every year and love it. We stay in the rental cabins with air conditioning. The people are so friendly. My children enjoy feeding the rabbits, swimming and the pancake breakfast. It is a short drive to Lake Erie and Cedar Point. 2015 will be our 9th summer visiting Cam Sandusky!

We camped here this past memorial day with our son's baseball team, they were participating in a local tournament. This campground offered campsites and cabins so we all were able to find something to suit our needs. We came down with our camper and stayed on a double lot with electrical, water, and sewer. I was very happy with our... More

Cabins are super small. If it's above 60 degrees out then get the air conditioner. Bathrooms were not open at night for us. The staff was not super helpful. The owner is very rude to his new employees. All you can eat pancakes is ok. The drinks are crazy high priced. McDonald's across the street is also a bust.

We actually found a very reasonably priced groupon for these cabins when planning a trip to cedar point. The groupon included a four person cabin and two breakfast tickets. Though it was just for one of their basic cabins and there was no a/c, there was electric and beds and mattresses provided. I called the campground a couple times with... More

Camp Sandusky bills itself as the "Cabin Capital of Ohio." Hundreds of little (approx. 12'x12') cabins lined up in rows that resemble a miniature WW2 Army training center. (Think Fort Jackson, SC). I peeked inside through a Dutch door and saw a bunk bed and a regular bed along with a small fridge. Some appear to have an air conditioner.... More

used a Groupon for a rental cabin: it's the basic utilitarian building in the picture. they are well maintained but packed in like sardines and located right on an e-way. not much for camping ambiance. however, the bathroom/showers were very clean and the grounds well patrolled. pool and play areas seemed very nice unfortunately it was too cold to enjoy...
