stayed there from july 6 to july 9, 2009. don't understand previous negative reviews. locations was great. rooms were clean. pool area was very adequate. plenty of dining all around there. easy drive to cedar point and soak city. free parking and discount tickets availabe at front desk. priced fairly. no basis for previous complaints. would definately stay there again.... more

I stayed with my girlfriend and another couple while we went to Cedar Point for two days. First room we got smelled, so the front desk switched us, no problem. But then when we needed anything we were first asked if we could come down and get it ourselves from the front desk. This didn't bother me really but I... more

I reserved this place for 2 nights assuming it was the newer wing of the Breakers (apparently called Breakers East). I had stayed there about a decade ago, and remembered the newer wing name started with an E, so when I saw Breakers Express on the website I figured that was it. Nope. The website never even mentions you have... more

Their was 16 people and we had four rooms. The employees were very rude and unfriendly. If you asked a question they acted like it killed them to answer it. They had no information for any of the resturants in the area. The hotel offered free coffee but cost a dollar for a donut and almost four dollars for a... more

We purchased the stay and play package at this hotel. This included a room, 2 Cedar Point Tickets, 2 Cedar Point Starlight (after 5pm) tickets, 2 Soak City tickets, 8 "breakfast" coupons and miscellaneous "discount" tickets for restaurants and services in the area. We stayed for 3 nights and it cost $426 total. Breakfast consists of either a single Krispy... more

If you're looking for JUST a place to sleep & shower, this hotel is great. It's definately the definition of the 'bare minimum.' However, it's the closest hotel to the park (without blowing too much cash) & offers some perks (since it's affiliated with the park). If you buy a package deal (hotel, park passes, parking) it's a pretty good... more

Like others, I was concerned about staying here after reading other negative reviews and I had low expectations. The hotel is definitely "no frills", but was quite adequate for a stay where our main emphasis was visiting the amusement park. Our room was fine and it was clean. The rest of the hotel also was clean and had modest, but... more
