Easy to find from the I-90, KOA is typically really good. We booked too late to stay at Cedar Points Lighthouse Village, so this was the best alternative. It was an easy pull through site, the staff was helpful with our snafu of forgetting the key to the unlock on our trailer hitch and came within 5-10 minutes with bold... More

We stayed in a 4 person cabin the second week of August. Being that it was during the week, the campground was pretty quiet. It did seem like they would host kids activities during the weekend, but no activities were planned during our stay. The campground had a bouncing pillow (not open during our stay), pool, small arcade, basketball court... More

Read great reviews about KOA campgrounds figured we would stay at 1 on our trip to Sandusky, big mistake. Camp site had NO shade was in the full sun. While at the camp store the vending machine ate my daughters $ and when she told attendent nothing was done about it no refund or apology. Had lots of activities for... More

Ok, as mentioned in other posts, there are train tracks nearby, but we stayed at the campground for two nights and barely noticed the trains. My mother had a motor home and we stayed in one of the park cabins and could hardly hear them. Admittedly, the air conditioning was going both nights, but it wasn't too bad. We ended... More

The worst campground I've ever seen. Tiny tent sites, dirty bathrooms, and no enforcement of 11pm quiet time. Spent the entire night listening to the 15 or so drunks having a party behind us. Loud talking, driving golf carts around empty sites & honking horns until 5am. I'm sure the only thing that stopped them was the sudden downpour. Not... More

Chose this location for price and proximity to cedar point. Those two things are great, but the accommodations are not. The cabin was not the cute wooden park models we've seen at other koa's but a smaller version of a single wide trailer & dirty! The pool also had a dirty ring around the inside. Then the train goes by... More

We are here to stay while we went to cedar point. We were not disappointed. I had a site close to the playground so I could watch them play and not worry. They have a jump pillow that was a hit. They would be on that for hours. The play ground was in the same area so they could stay... More

Campground was clean and people were nice but the trains ran day and night right next to the campground and blew their horns all the time. Very hard for us to sleep. The bathrooms and facilities were very clean but older and showed considerable signs of wear and tear. Pool was pretty cold but again furniture was worn pretty good.... More

We go there 5 to 6 times a year and have a great time. There are tons of sites, plenty with shade. Kids can ride their bikes through the woods and even see Lake Erie. Staff has always been very helpful and nice. It's a quick 6 minute drive to Cedar Point. The only downfall is the loud train that... More

Our family of 3 stayed for 4 nights in a park model unit. The unit was fairly clean and had sufficient room for us. Trains were noisy and the park model shook at times, but we adjusted to that. Out main problem was that there were nightly drinking parties in this section, going on until early morning. There were signs... More
