We have stayed at numerous KOAs across the country. Sandusky wins the award for the worst. The bathrooms were pretty dirty. The "creation station" for kids seemed dirty with odd items stored in the same area. The staff didn't really seem that friendly - like a typical KOA. Unfortunate that this one gives KOA a bad name. The rustic cabin... More

We arrived at the campground late on a stormy night. Unfortunately the tent sites were flooded but the owners cheerfully accomadated our every need! Campground is clean, store well stocked, super conveniently located to Cedar Point amusement park. Again, we were not dissapointed by a KOA Campground.

I reserved through a phone call since I didn't have access to the internet at the time and didn't get a chance to read the reviews. I probably wouldn't have stayed here after reading the reviews. The site that we were put on was so wet we couldn't open our door without stepping into a puddle of water above our... More

A lot cheaper than staying at Cedar Point's Campground. Pool is heated and nice. Decent play area for the kids. Staff all seemed very friendly. We did not have any issues here. The train does run A LOT but that being said did not bother us at all. If staying in a tent it may be worse but from inside... More

It seems like a lot of people give this place bad reviews because of a train. Well last I knew it was a city. And there is no sigh out front that's says hotel resort. This is a campground not a hotel. People come here on the weekends. And bring like 7 to 10 people with them and stay in... More

We arrived on Friday evening at approx 10:45pm. Little did we know this was biker week. We arrived to the security gate and was informed of this and was told get ready for a loud night, loud night was an understatement. The entire time we were at the gate, we had motorcycles passing by me on my right, being as... More

Very nice 8 day stay for Bike Week! Got off to a rainy start, but that didn't stop the staff from their duties. Throughout the stay, the campsites were well maintained, the restrooms and showers were very clean and security patrols were always on duty. Nice playground and pool area too! Thanks to all for the great stay!

We arrived over biker weekend in Sandusky for a convention that was held at Kalahari. Checking in, the woman working at the desk was less than pleasent to us yet seemed kind to the bikers coming in. Went to our electric tent site which was next to bikers. No big deal I'm used to bikers but that night they decided... More

We were very let down by this KOA. When we arrived we were not informed that they would not be providing the cable tv that was advertised. When we inquired we were told they would not have cable until June or July!! what a surprise after traveling all day and all we wanted was to get some dinner, watch a... More
