5 trips to cedar point over last decade and we finally decided to splurge and pay extra cost of Breakers...normally spend about $120 at Hampton Inn. Hampton has better beds, no mustiness, and decent free breakfast...BUT, Breakers really is excellent location. If you need fancy room and updated furnishings...stay somewhere else...but if you can deal with decent bed and outdated... More

We stayed two nights at the hotel. The rooms need to be updated, no coffee machines in room. When arriving to our room, workers running in and around the halls messing around and yelling. the hallway was a mess with carts, extra mattreses and garbage. For the elderly, had to go through 4 people to get a wheelchair to push... More

Yes, Hotel Breakers has the easiest and earliest access for the park and the beach. That's fortunate for them because otherwise there's not much to brag about. The lobby was very hot since it has no air conditioning, but the AC in the room worked very well. The room itself (tower section - 10th floor, the concierge floor) was definitely... More

We stayed here for just 1 night. We were on a road trip which included a day spent at Cedar Point. I booked a room here because my mother has difficulty walking due to knee issues. Unfortunately, I was unaware of all the walking that would be involved just to get from the front desk to our room. It was... More

We read all the bad reviews, so were concerned. We were very pleasantly surprised. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. You can NOT beat the convenience for going to the park. And for those who complained about the price, you get more than a hotel room. The hour early entry to the park allows you to hit several major... More

The Hotel Breakers is definitely a mixed bag as far as hotels go. The rooms were fairly clean but we stayed in the older tower section and you could definitely see its age. A standard room by all accounts, nothing special here to justify the $250 a night asking price. I was also expecting the room to have a nicer... More

This hotel has two things going for it: proximity to the parks (Cedar Point, Soak City, Challenge Park) and the Cedar Point early entry benefit. That's what you are paying for. Now, if you plan to stay in the park from open to close and don't really care about being able to return to your hotel mid-day, you would probably... More

I just returned from an overnight stay with my wife and 3 kids (ages 9,9 and 7). This hotel is effectively in the park. The distance from our room to the 'resort' entrance to the Cedar Point park and Surf City water park was about 200 yards. The value of this is immeasurable. When we needed a drink or a... More

We just stayed the weekend of July 13th. The rooms were outdated. The TV was one of the oldest I have ever seen in a hotel. Also, my kids didn't like that there was no Wi-Fi to use, but the hotel is so convenient to Cedar Point amusement park and you got a deal with tickets for $32 a piece... More
