The reviewers are clear, this hotel is old. You don't see outside air conditioners anymore, dusty and a few cobwebs around. That said, and I prefer nice places, it was perfectly acceptable for our 3 nights and days in the park. Gorgeous property on Lake Erie, helpful staff, useful Peanuts cartoons next to registration. Looking forward to a return visit... More

The convenience of staying right at the doorstep of Cedar Point is so great! I can not say how nice it is after a full day at the park to walk back to the hotel and fall into bed instead of dealing with the traffic exiting the parking lot. It is an older hotel, but most of it has been... More

Earlier in the year I had decided to take the family to Cedar Point for my 40th birthday. I've always liked giving gifts on my birthday as a present to myself. With my busy schedule I had waited to the last minute to reserve a hotel room and ended up torn between a cheaper stay outside the park or a... More

Love Breakers, Just a bad year for Housekeeping & Jacuzzi not usable due to sand in Tub & then Jets after we cleaned it. For that kind of money for a Tower Suite they need to stay on your "A" game! Our 5 year Anniversary Kind of spoiled!!

My parents took us to Cedar Point every year when we were growing up! We have taken my parents, now 91 and 85, to Cedar Point for the last 5 years. We have stayed in the older section of the Breakers Hotel because it reminds my parents of the "old days" even dating back to when my mother came to... More

The Hotel Breakers is in the perfect place for a trip to Cedar Point! It's a short walk to the park from any section of the hotel and you get early entry into the park! The rooms aren't quite up to date, but the beds are comfortable and the air conditioning definitely works. It's a great place to stay if... More

Okay so I've seen some reviews with people complaining about having to walk up stairs to their room and no elevators.. in a certain section of the hotel this does exist. . So be sure when you book what you are getting. We always stay in a lakeview suite and it's really nice. . However the TV could be nicer... More

Staying on the property so close to the park is great. We love the early entry and being able to easily come back to our room during the day. Staff is always great and friendly. We wish we had more options for food on property - particularly healthy ones. The pool facilities are a great way to unwind at the... More

It is pricy to stay on the grounds, but worth it. The TGIF and Perkins were good on site restaraunts. It was a little difficult going up and down the old stairs of Breakers with a stroller (no elevator access on the cheapest floor) Biggest complaint was the pool was too cold. The indoor pool was freezing. My 1 year... More

My husband and I are in our thirties with three kids. Two teenagers and one preteen. My husband and I had stayed at the resort in 2005. Our kids had never been to Cedar Point and had asked this spring to make a visit this summer. The only way to visit Cedar Point is to stay at Hotel Breakers. The... More
