We only stay at Marriott and associated hotels. This one is remodeled but still signs of being old.The cost is still the same as a new Marriott. The room doors do not close unless pushed on forcefully . Bathroom had a little mold. Breakfast was more like a super 8. Over all disappointed in this one. Beds are great. more

This is an older hotel that has had some remodelling done, however, the remodelling did not go far enough. The bedroom furniture was updated, but not enough remodelling in the bathroom area. We pass through St. Clairsville/Wheeling every June during our summer vacation and have stayed at this hotel the past three years. The rooms have been clean, the breakfast buffet good...no major complaints...although it did seem to have declined somewhat this year. Rolled into town without reservations at 10 p.m. Got a very nice double for $75 and a good breakfast for for my family. Front desk very nice. more
