We stayed at glen laurel for an anniversary in oct 2009 and have been dying to go back ever since. Just loved the grounds, the lodging and the scones. We stayed at the inn at cedar falls the first night and glen laurel the second. Liked glen laurel better, but the food at inn at cedar falls (dinner at least... More

Thank you very much for your feedback. We went for a 7 course dinner on a Saturday. The food was remarkable, and our server was very attentive and professional. He even lit the fire in the lobby for us when we were cold before dinner. This place really is a gem. Hope to stay over night sometime. Grounds are kept pristine.

A perfect weekend spot, a private and romantic room and perfect service. Food was great and the setting was ideal.

We had a great stay at Glen Laurel for our first anniversary and plan on going back. The cabin was great and the food and amenities were all first class. We enjoyed drinking some scotch with the innkeeper and he recited some Bobby Burns poetry for us. It was a wonderful weekend.

We enjoyed two nights at the establishment in one of their private cottages for our anniversary. The cottages were beautiful, not overly extravagant but well decorated in a Scottish type of style. We had massages and food served to our cottage for all but one meal during our stay. The cottage has a private hot tub and a living area,... More

My husband and I stayed at Glen Laurel for my 40th birthday. All I have to say is we loved it. From the wonderful Croft we stayed in to the fabulous food. It was all excellent. The dinners are something not to be missed. Pricey yes- but worth every penny. The 2nd night we dined, Chef Eric actually served us.... More

My husband and I spent two nights of our honeymoon here. The place is beautiful and the room was cozy. We stayed in the rooms and not the cottages. The place has a great atmosphere and the breakfast was delicious. The walls were fairly thin, and we could hear the kitchen in the morning as they were preparing breakfast... and... More

What is Glenlaurel Inn without its original innkeeper and owner? It remains a fine Inn with the pleasant ambiance of Scotland thanks to the staff that remains faithful to the vision inspired by Michael. With that said, Michael's absence is clearly felt by those of us who were deeply touched by his gracious hospitality. With a few lines of prose,... More

Glenlaurel's spirit is alive and the original dream still grows. The gracious staff and owners strive to continue the ambiance that was originally created by Michael. Even though the dreamer is no longer at Glenlaurel, the dream is still alive and continues to grow. Change is inevitable, but the original vision is still what makes Glenlaurel so special. More

We have stayed 14 nights now and plan to stay many more. My wife and I spent our honeymoon there and both of our anniversaries and no doubt will spend our third. It is hard to imagine a more perfect place to get away.
