Absolutely a necessity for us to get away alone and rediscover what was truly essential in life. Glenlaurel Inn gave us the perfect setting to do this. Tumbled across the website shearly by accident and was cautious that this place could deliver all it promised. But it definitely did so and amply more. The staff were delightful, we were treated... If a B&B/Inn bills itself as "Scottish," then it ought to serve really great oatmeal porridge for breakfast! Fortunately, at Glenlaurel, this is true! Also, quite delicious scones, a decent cup of tea, and very fine breakfast fare, such as the Eggs Benedict we had one morning during our stay: perfectly poached eggs, a very delicate Hollandaise and mild Canadian... This was our first trip to Glenlaurel Inn, and there will definitely be more! Our stay was everything we could have asked for and more. We stay in the Macbeth cabin, and it was perfect. The cabin was quaint, clean, homey and perfect for a couples getaway weekend. The breakfast was delicious and included in the price. I would highly... More

We stayed for our 10th anniversary and had a great time in the area. We were in the McGregor room which was in the main building. The room was lovely to look at and the hot tub was nice as well. However, the room is RIGHT next to the kitchen (one staff member said "well they do warn you about... More

At this point, I think we've stayed at Glenlaurel at least 8 times and for a total of almost 30 nights. It has truly become our go-to getaway. We are avid hikers and outdoors folks, and the Hocking Hills region is absolutely gorgeous. We have stayed in many of the crofts: Elliot, Gordon, Bruce, and Sinclair. They are all homey,... More

My husband and I celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary in the Macintosh cottage. It was clean, spacious, and very well appointed. We were impressed with the cottage's sound system (tip: bring your own dvd's, blu-ray's, and cd's). The private hot tub was so relaxing. Breakfast each morning was delicious (the scones are so yummy! they even shared the recipe!!). We... More

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay in the MacTavish cottage. All the cottages and crofts are private, but the MacTavish seemed particularly secluded. It was a great, relaxing getaway. The cottage was very clean and well taken care of. In fact, the shower and fixtures were so white and shiny they looked brand new. You can drive up... More

My husband and I celebrated our 2nd Anniversary at Glenlaurel. We were greeted by the Innkeeper, Tracy, who was very friendly and informative. A very relaxing stay.
