My fiance and I went to glenlaurel for dinner one night. We didn't stay there so I don't know how the cottages or rooms are. There is a very nice ambiance there and everyone seems friendly. The landscaping on the property is beautiful as well. The dinner consisted of a 5-course meal. Some things were extremly salty and some didn't... more

My fiance and I stayed for a Saturday night recently and had a wonderful time. First of all, we only had time for one evening and the Inn was able to accomodate (normally a two night stay on the weekend is required). Staying in one of the older crofts (the Drummond) when we arrived we noticed it had recently been... more

We found out about the Glenlaurel just a week before our 20th anniversary. They had 2 cottages still available...we ended up staying in the MacIntosh Cottage which was lovely. This was the most romantic weekend we've ever had. From the soft music playing when you entered the cottage to the large hottub on your own private deck to the two... more

My husband and I stayed at the Glenlaurel October 13 - 15 2008. The weather was perfect -- high 70's low 80's during the day. Fall colors were amazing. We stayed in one of the cottages at the Glenlaurel and thought it was great. Our only complaint with the cottage was the shower was a little on the small size... more

We just returned from Glen Laurel Inn and I must say we LOVED it. We, being a group of six women, celebrating a "BIG" Birthday. We stayed at Muir and Macleod Cottages. Thought they both were nice, however we all agreed that Muir was nicer. It was more charming. Macleod was nice and both were very high quality, Muir was... more

We celebrated our anniversary here last month. Overall we were extremely impressed but there are places that can be improved upon, we felt, for the prices that were chaged. We stayed in the MacBeth croft and it was lovely and relaxing. From the moment we stepped through the doorway and heard the soft, romantic Scottish music, to the clean and... more

We stayed at Glenlaurel for our anniversary celebration. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The property was well landscaped and maintained. The idea of individual cottages and crofts is great and all of these come with their own private hot tubs which we did enjoy. We were disappointed with the appointments in the cottage. The quality of the furnishings... more

Everyone writes excellent reviews for a reason, since there is nothing that is not outstanding. Make sure you also hike on their private trail to the gorge. The price of the lodging is expensive, but worth it for a special occassion. more

My girlfriend and I just returned from a great weekend getaway at Glenlaurel. We stayed in a croft, which was just perfect for us. Everything at the resort was first class and well done! The service and attention to detail was refreshing. The room was very comfortable and clean and my girlfriend loved the Scottish music that was playing when... more

Stayed here for a w/e with 9 girlfriends to celebrate one of the girls getting married. I organised the stay for everyone, the staff could not have been more accomodating. It was a short drive from Columbus. We had pizza the first night, next time I would come earlier and dine in the main house where the food was excellent.... more
