Love this place. Warm and inviting. Attractive. Well thought out. Bob was a perfect host offering snacks and beverages often. Sheets crisp and clean. Great shower and claw foot tub. We will stay here again.

Arrived on a weeknight in pouring rain -- at 8:45 pm. Not that late really, but it was dark and few lights were on. I figured out where to park (not easy), where the front door was (after navigating a dark porch), and found the door locked and the "lobby" dark. A note on the door, from Bob, instructed me... More

This was my first stay at the Rocking Horse but it certainly won't be my last. Bob has created a warm atmosphere with lovely Victorian antiques and accents plus special touches in each room. Drinks and snacks are available 24 hours. The continental breakfast is available each day from 7-11 a.m. The Anne room where I stayed had wonderful antiques,... More

We just had our first visit to this is a very attractive and comfortable B&B on a quiet street near the center of town. Bob is a fine host and he and his sister have done a great job of decorating the rooms and common areas. Nice selection for breakfast--when we were there a few weeks ago he had a... More

We had a wonderful experience here. My husband and I stayed for 7 nights, and were very honored by Bob the proprietor. He was kind enough to leave us some breakfast when we needed to sleep in the first day, as we had arrived at 1am and were exhausted from a day of travel. He kept us stocked with bottled... More

I love this place. I come to Ravenna just about every year and I have stayed at the Rocking Horse Inn for almost 10 years now. I have stayed in every room and have enjoyed each one. Each room is decorated in the victorian style but they are all different. I have always felt like home here. Bob, the proprietor,... More

My friend and I have stayed multiple times in different rooms. We love the quiet friendly comfortable atmosphere. He offers free continental breakfast which includes; coffee, tea, cereal, fruits, freshly baked items and he's offered what drinks... are in the frig. The rooms are Victorian Era and he keeps them up well and clean. Each room has it own bathroom.... More

We stayed 4 nights in the Victoria Room. The room was very nice and the bed super comfortable. Bob is an excellent host. His style is laid back and while you feel totally welcome, he doesn't "loom" over his guests in the least. We've stayed at a lot of B & B's and sometimes a host can be a bit... More

A wonderful choice for our first b & b ever: a rehabbed nun's dormitory, couldn't ask for quieter or more comfortable sleeping. Flawless cleanliness, extraordinarily welcoming host. Breakfast featured an amazing bowl of fresh berries--how? in Ohio, in February?--and delicious freshly baked bread. We were too busy that weekend to try the hot tub, but look forward to returning to... More
