They call this place a resort. In reality it is no more than a HoO from way back. Yeah , it's clean. Beds are uncomfortable. No comps like coffee in the A.M. ( its in your room. You have to push a button. I was told). No newspaper to read of any kind. Thus I'm writing this review. If it weren't... More

Stayed for just one night on a business trip. Hotel itself is nice and clean and has a lodge type feel. Quite a hike to get to my room. Would not have liked it if I had a lot of luggage. Room was nice with good tv (with guide) and nice bathroom amenities. Bed was ok, foam pillows a plus... More

We were in town to visit family for 3 nights and reserved 2 rooms at this hotel. First of all our first night in hotel, the TV didn't work. We called the front desk and were told that there was nothing they could do and we had to wait till the next day. That was just horrible, especially with 2... More

Not a very relaxing stay; the heating system in the hotel and lounge is terrible. Needed a parka in the lounge and the hotel hallways were uncomfortably hot. The breakfast buffet was ok but the whole environment needs updated. Looks like 1970's decor and the whole place has a stuffy pretentiousness about it.

My swim team came here for our conference meet and I'd say from the outside this hotel looks impressive. The bad part is when you get to your room the impression soon goes away. The wall in our room is currently splitting from the ceiling. It's almost looks like the wall is falling in on itself. The staff when I... More

Spent one night at quail hollow for a friend's wedding. They let us check in early and the staff was great. Overall it was a good deal- things were clean and the wedding food and drinks were above expectations. The gym was ok and the indoor pool and hot tub were nice to have- we spent 20 min hanging out... I've been to resorts in the past and beg to differ about calling Quail Hollow a resort. The first thing I noticed about the first room we were in was the noise. The patio door (unfortunately facing the expressway) didn't close all the way. The gap at the top of the door was noticably bigger than that of the bottom.... More

Went there overnight and was not really impressed. Spent almost 2 and a half hours at the almost completely empty steakhouse there, where we were checked on 2 maybe 3 times. The pool was only open to us at certain times, as there was a private event that apparently took priority. Sorry, but why am I paying to not have... More

This hotel is very cozy and has a lodge feel. Found out that it is privately owned. The rooms were clean, the staff were very polite and the restaurant food was excellent and had a good selection including room service. I came here in the middle of winter during a snow storm so I was unable to see the class... More

Not real sure what the requirements are to be declared a resort but I'm thinking Quail Hollow should be evaluated again. The room overall could be best described as dated. First thing I noticed was the traffic noise, given the distance from the highway one would assume that this would not be a problem, wrong. The patio door was other... More
