If you want an amazing "home away from home," Tom and Debra will welcome you to their gorgeous, unique 16-room Tudor home. Walking distance from historic Painesville, too. We spent 6 nights and didn't want to leave. If you are lucky enough to stay near Christmas, the decorations are so beautiful! We stayed in the third floor Bushmills room, a... More

This B&B is superior in every way. From the cleanliness (every corner of this place is spotless), to the wonderful garden, to the breakfasts. The bed was super comfy. The huge bathroom with the giant tub was absolutely wonderful. The Fitzgeralds were very welcoming. Would definitely return for another getaway weekend!!

We spent two wonderful nights at Fitzgerald's - the location, owners and breakfasts were wonderful. A gorgeous home, built in 1937, with all of it's original charm. We'd stay there again in a heartbeat! Rooms were very large, with ours, the Galway room, conveniently located on the first floor with a HUGE bathroom - Many thanks to Tom and Debra... More

We called last minute and were welcomed like they expected us. Great comfy place, spotless clean, loved the chocolates on the bed, wine in the fridge, and the graciousness of the host, even tho they had just arrived from Ireland the night before!

We just returned from a two night stay. We were in town for a wedding. What a wonderful place to stay. Our host and hostess were so friendly and made us feel right at home. Our breakfasts included homemade scones, fruit and eggs and meat. Glad we were there for a weekend. Our room was on the third floor and... More

We spent 4 nights here while visiting family. The Bushmill's room is amazing. The bed is comfortable and the room is quiet. You have the entire 3rd floor! Tom and Debra are amazing hosts who make you feel so welcome. Tom does the cooking and his scones are fantastic! Had a wonderful time and will be back.

We stayed in the Bushmill room for one night. The house is decorated beautifully, the room is very cozy and warm with a comfy jacuzzi tub. Perfect for the very cold night we chose to visit! We had dinner at Bistro 70, it was recommended by Tom and it was delicious. Not too far away, perfect for celebrating a special... More

We stayed in the Mayo room in September 2014. The room is quite large. It is the first room at the top of the stairs so all other guest do have to pass by the room making it slightly more noisy. We were there during the week so it was only a continental breakfast. I do prefer B&B that do... More

I stayed here late October visiting with my daughter. It was definitely one of those vacations that you will treasure and remember fondly for many years to come. Since she elected a school in Ohio I have stayed in numerous B&B's in Ohio and they all are very clean and nice. But this stay was different, we both felt so... More

We found out that B&B's aren't really our style, but if you are into them, this is a nice place. The outdoor is unique and the inside is nicely decorated. Our room was clean and cozy. There is plenty to do within a 30 minute radius. The breakfast was also very good (we were there on a weekend, but heard... More
