“Maumee Bay Lodge”

The lodge is well maintained, with pleasant rooms. This resort has the best food among the Ohio State Parks!! Its proximity to major migratory bird areas is a major draw and it is very busy during May.

Just discovered Maumee Bay when taking the kids with us bird watching at the nearby nature areas. It was awesome. The kids had a blast. The indoor pool is large and warm, with a spray area and 2 hot tubs. The kids liked the arcade (which wasn't noisy and is open so not dark & ikkcy) and the pool table... More

“great place to stay”

Maumee Bay is lovely and was a great place for a birding event. The setting is wonderful and the trail and Nature Center add to the choices. It is nicely suited for a conference and also provided family amenities to suit various ages and interests. The onsite restaurant and swimming pool were welcome and inviting.

I'm glad to see that you were able to enjoy the many natural benefits of our Park. This was been a very good year for viewing migratory birds. You may want to visit again in the summer when the Nature Center's monarch butterfly exhibit is in full operation. Thank you so much for favorable score and comments. More

We love Maumee Bay and visit there as a family every year. The staff is always pleasant, the lodge is always clean and well kept inside and out, and there is always something to do. It is such a great place to stay even if your not bringing the whole family, my husband and I just stayed as a weekend... More

“Gem on Lake Erie”

We bought a package at a charity auction and were delighted with both the location & the accommodations. There are boardwalks built over the nearby swamp where one can walk for a couple of miles hearing nothing but birds chirping. Very tranquil.

You had good timing to experience wildlife in our Park. The huge bird migration will continue for a few more weeks. Hopefully you saw one of the Bald Eagles that like to hang out at our park. Thank you have your favorable comments and hopefully you'll be able to return to the natural beauty of Maumee Bay State Park. More

“Wonderful wetlands walkway by the lake.”

We enjoyed our stay at Maumee Bay lodge and conference center. We visited the Toledo Zoo while there that has a wonderful polar bear display. We especially enjoyed the wetlands walkway at the lodge. “Wonderful Place To Stay”

Stayed here in January. The rooms were very clean and the beds quite comfortable. The pool was enjoyable as well as the 2 hot tubs. Be aware that the pool area can become very warm and overcrowded. The scenery was beautiful and relaxing. Friendly and courteous staff. Comes highly recommended. Retuning in February for another stay.
