My wife and I stayed here for our first wedding anniversary. We have never stayed at a B&B before so we were in for quite a treat. The innkeeper, Donna, was very pleasant to talk with and made you feel right at home. The entire home was gorgeous! There are several patios/porches to sit and enjoy the views of the... More

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful B&B this past weekend with our dog. We couldn't have felt more welcome. We arrived at the inn in the evening, feeling cold, wet, muddy and hungry after a rather unsuccessful day of hiking in the park due to uncooperative weather. We were instantly cheered up by Donna, our fantastic hostess, and... More

Staying at Shady Oaks was like stepping back in time! The decor is perfect to the period and Donna, the inkeeper, can tell you about every last detail of it. It was almost surreal to be eating in the stunning dining room in my pj's. Breakfast was a nice spread and I particularly appreciated that Donna paid attention to my... More

Me and my husband had a great stay at Shady Oaks. Being vegans, she made us a special breakfast, which was very enjoyable! Also made a separate breakfast for the nice other couple staying there who were not vegan. Donna was such a great hostess, giving lots of suggestions, and even making us reservations. The location was perfect, a ski... More

Donna, the innkeeper, was a wonderful hostess. She saw to our every need and went beyound the call of duty. Our accommodations were peaceful and relaxing. I was there for a ski trip and Donna loaned me ski pants that I had mistakenly left at home. The breakfasts were everything one would expect and more...hearty quiches, tasty fresh fruit, fresh... Oue stay at Shady Oaks was wonderful, the inn was just a masterpiece, the casings and woodwork were amasing, the antiques and furnishing are so beautiful. The innkeepers are helpful, gave us great advice for dinner and really helped us finding trails and adventures in the park. On our arrival home we were welcomed with the smell of apple pie... More

Shady Oaks Farm BNB is one of the most beautiful Inns we have stayed at. I enjoyed the hearty country breakfast. My eyes were bigger than my stomach with all the wonderful taste combinations. Donna our host was a big help, offering advice on local attractions and trails in the National Park. I enjoy watching the horses graze in their... More

Being next to Cuyahoga National Park is convenient. And the home/room and host were nice. One must put this in perspective to the price. There were a few important issues: (1) terrible breakfast with bad coffee, Smuckers jam, inedible muffins, margarine rather than butter, canned fruit, (2) camper and logging equipment parked on property, (3) though the room was nice...
