Once again we had a wonderful stay at the Punderson Manor Lodge. It is such a nice, cozy unique place with wonderful views of the lake. We stayed before and stayed again and this state park. Love the grounds and activities to do in nature. The park had activities also arranged so that is nice if you stay for the... More

Recently rented 4 cabins for a family reunion at Punderson Manor and had an excellent experience. Cabins are very nice. Staff was friendly and truly went all out to make sure our stay was pleasurable. Golf course was very nice. Had family volleyball games several times. Would have liked to catch a few more fish, but they didn't seem to... More

Great grounds. Lots of fun family activities. Gorgeous location, close to all that Cleveland has to offer. Kudos to the wonderful housekeeping team! We left the room for less than 30 minutes, and our attendant had the room fully cleaned and in perfect shape upon our return. Friendly and professional staff. Very good restaurant - everything was delicious except for... More

Another trip to Punderson...when they run specials...it's worth the price but rack rates are pricey....nice grounds, fishing, boating, camping, golf, hiking....Well appointed restaurant ( on the pricey side $$$)....but very good...quaint little lodge or manor tucked away in the woods...We enjoy the atmosphere and ambiance...

The lodge at Punderson is so charming. My room in the original section was furnished with antiques and had the warmth of a B & B. The walking trails are well marked and a great way to begin each day. The pools are heated and clean, and there were ample chairs and lounges available. The views of the lake are... More

I did not want to be stuck in a hotel and this place was great! It is in the heart of a state park so you have all the trails and paths. We were able to go to the campground and watch a movie outside, we swam in the indoor and out door pool every day. The views over the... More

We found a wonderfully relaxing few days at Punderson. The manor is striking and there are great views of the lake and surrounding area. The dining room was elegantly set up for the next meal. It is cozy and intimate, but could be a good place to conduct a business discussion with a few people. There is a private dining... More

The grounds are lovely, the lodge historic, the food quite good, and the restaurant staff responsive and happy to interact with customers. We even spotted a bald eagle! Don't expect a big, luxurious room. After all this is a property with lots of history, but my room was cozy and clean.

It seems unlikely you'd find a luxury lodge, within a resort atmosphere, in this highly Amish populated region of Ohio. The lodge is more formal than you'd expect....sort of like you'd find in the Catskills. The indoor pool is a plus in the off-season. Folks are friendly and eager to serve...I happened to hit the beginning of the summer season... More

I recently stayed at Punderson Manor on business. Rooms are charming, but dated - very few outlets, poor quality tv with few channels. Also, I ended up in the room above the lobby and garage, so it was a little noisy outside. They were also doing a controlled burn, so everything smelled like smoke. Probably would stay further away next... More
