The setting of a castle is just about the perfect adventure - especially one that is set is the midst of a very beautiful countryside. The castle "keepers" were very accommodating and made us feel welcome and wanted. We loved our meals in the castle and playing outdoor checkers in the courtyard every evening was a treat. We found many... more

Incredibly romantic weekend! The hosts and staff of this B&B were exceptional. The entire experience was like a step back into old England. We also enjoyed the surrounding area of caves, cliffs, woods, and hiking trails. Can't wait to go back! more

We stayed at Ravenwood to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary and had a wonderful time. Let me start by saying I almost canceled our reservation due to some of the bad reviews I read on this site. I am very glad we just decided to go and see for ourselves! We stayed in the King Alfred room which although... more

My husband, two children and mother-in-law stayed here, booking two rooms: Rapunzel's Tower and the Snow White cottage for mom and the boys. I thought the rates were VERY reasonable and the rooms nicely appointed. The breakfast was delicious and the room in which they serve felt very authentically medieval. We live about 6-7 hours away from Ravenwood, so we... more

$210.00 ....For our one night ....Thank God it was only one night! This may look like a CASTLE.....but it feels like a "DIED out Ghost town!" I would consider their website and brochure completely Bogus! aka...lying or fraud It states...Tea Room...Gift Shops Shakespeare Plays!!!! Nope....do NOT expect any of this! This is the height of the summer and none of... more

I must be much easier to please than a lot of the reviewers on this site, because I loved Ravenwood Castle. My husband and I stayed on a Saturday and Sunday night and it was so relaxing and romantic. We did not eat at the Castle on Saturday night as there was an 80th birthday going on, but the party... more

If you are looking for the ultimate couple's getaway this is it. It is truly a wonder in itself. Relaxtion is a definite without the everyday hubub of t.v.'s, alarm clocks or phones. The staff is exceptional! The meals are truly divine, be sure to try the homemade pumpkin chocolate chip muffins. Cinderella's Coach House was our first cottage and... more

Let me start the review by saying my husband and I travel frequently including everything from a 5 star hotel to bed and breakfasts. The ravenwood castle was a great experience for us. The staff is very warm and welcoming. The hocking hills overall are just peaceful and worlds away from city life and the hustle and bustle of everyday... more

It was a very pretty place, incredibly nice people, and spacious rooms. We stayed two nights, our first night was in the Sherwood Forest room. It was cute, but a bit too cutesy for two grownups looking for a romantic weekend. The second room we stayed in was the Duke's Dungeon. It was more what we wanted. The food was... more

Our stay at Ravenwood Castle and Medieval Village was delighful. We camped in one of the "Gypsy" wagons, and my children especially enjoyed the unique experience of staying at such an unusual place. It had electricity but no running water, and was quite pleasant. The interior had a high level of finishing and was comfortable but not fancy. It was... more
