Lots of kids and dogs, but surprisingly nice and quiet. The lots are shaded so it was nice and relaxing to sit outside and enjoy a camp fire. It is in a great location, nestled between several state parks, close to a bike path and plenty of hiking opportunities. Also a great area for motorcycle riding. We didn't utilize the... More

Overall was satisfied with the camp ground. There were a few things that could've been better but overall it was a great experience. The overall grounds are nice, appear to be a few upgrades/ maintenance projects going on but that makes for a better experience when finished. The pool... It's located at the owners house across the pond. It looks... More

Hey this is nice place if your in your late years. I'm 47 traveling with two daughters 14 and 16 - the pool is a joke, really not usable and it sits at the owners home back yard. It's old and maybe room for 4 chairs around the whole thing. No boats for any squirt gun type fights like in... More

Once again, I have to laugh at another review. Not family oriented? Are you kidding me? LOL, we are very family oriented. I look around this place and often say, if someone can't have a good time here, it's really not our problem. We have hiking trails, boat rentals, peddle kart rentals, fishing, swimming in both the lake and the... More

The family ,friends, and jax the puppy all went for a camping trip and had as my daughter said " the time of our lives!" It was beautiful . the location was amazing, the lake was great, bathrooms luxurious, and the star gazing was the breathtaking. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. The lake for fishing was great. Pool was in a decent walk distance and clean. They placed a slip n slide to go in the lake for all to enjoy for a certain time frame. The low bikes you can rent was a great hit for our 10 and 16 yr old plus a game room (they are trying to... More

On a return trip from Goshen, IN to North Carolina, we traveled on Hwy. 33 - road is OK and 4-lanes at some points. Finding an RV park is NOT OK! We struggled throughout the day attempting to locate an over night stay. There were not even any Walmarts along the rural route! As afternoon began to fade into evening... More

It's too bad you didn't enjoy your stay and wouldn't return unless out of desperation, because we do have a nice campground. To put things into perspective, you did call on a Friday of one of our Halloween themed weekends looking for a pull thru site for that same evening for one night. We had 2 30 amp pull thru... More

We stayed at Happy Hills just this last weekend (October 10-12th) to celebrate our anniversary. We wanted to explore the Hocking Hills, and chose one of the cabins for our stay. When we first arrived, the check-in went very smooth and the people at the front desk were very friendly and made us feel very welcomed. The cabin and site... More

We stayed at Happy Hills in late September, technically after the official camping season had ended. The GOOD: -The campground was super quiet, people wise anyway. For those city folk that want to get away, all you hear in the evenings and night is the wild. I loved it. My kids, they wondered about what was making the buzzing sounds,... More

We stay at this campground every Labor Day and always enjoy our stay. The owners are super friendly and do anything for you. The grounds are clean and well kept, the area has lots of trees and rolling hills, and you are a short drive from the Hocking Hills attractions. Great frisbie golf course onsite and lake for paddle boats/fishing.... More
