OK, so the thing about Mt. Vernon and its hotels is this - Mt. Vernon is not a big town, Kenyon College is a few miles away, and the college is not really near anything else. If you're visiting Mt. Vernon or Gambier, this is best place to stay by far. It has almost no competiton.
