We were there mid week and there were not many planned activities for the high camping price that we were paying to be there. We did simple arts and crafts from kits, and swam in the pool and lake. When it rained for part of a day the activities staff stood around on the porch watching TV rather than starting... More

We have camped at MANY campgrounds and this is tied with our number ONE choice! The people were great. The grounds beautiful! Lots of activities. Beautiful lake for swimming and boating. All included in the price! We've stayed at hotels who's bathrooms weren't as nice as these. Owners are doing a great job and hope they keep things up and... More

I spent this past weekend at Jellystone Park at Dogwood Valley. What a wonderful place! The staff is super friendly and helpful. So many activities for the kids, swimming, hay rides, movies and more. A great band played on Saturday night, got to practice my line dancing! A food truck cooked up tasty burgers and quesedillas on Sunday afternoon. There... More

We went to this park years ago (like 20 maybe) but just rediscovered it last weekend and wow have we missed out! 2 slides for the kids (and kids at heart) are sure to please. The bathrooms are the nicest I have ever seen at a campground...by far!! Super clean, new, bright, etc. campsites include cable television which is a... More

We arrived on Friday night. We were greeted by a friendly staff member and shown to our cabin. What a surprise. I t was so cute, clean and comfortable. I especially loved the full kitchen. The activities were very special. The kids were busy all day and very well supervised. There were watersides, hayrides, bingo, movies, and water sports. The adults had... More

I wrote a previous review about how much we enjoyed this campground, but I wanted to review it again because of our repeat visit after many changes had been made and the new affiliation with Jellystone. I didn't realize how much "great" could be "greater!" My husband and I loved the ambiance before, and we wondered if that would change... More

We went as a family and loved it!!! So much to do and all included on your lot fee. Friendly staff and the campground is well taken care. This is one of Ohio's finest campgrounds you can't go wrong! Water slides, pool and lake swimming which you won't find often, my sons favorite the Blob, and creeks and lakes to... More

This campground is wonderful for children and adults as well. The sites are shaded and the bath house was always spotless. The enormous pond allowed my children to play all day long without mentioning boredom. There is a Kroger 3 miles away which is very convenient and the actual town of Mt. Gilead is very pretty as well. You will... More

What a great find!! Camped here with my three children and husband for 5 nights. Never a dull moment. Beautiful facility, clean with shaded trees (site #140). Kids were entertained and exhausted by the end of the night. Staff was so friendly and accommodating. Even the dog enjoyed the shallow creek at the entrance. This is truly one of our... More

We camped with our 9 and 11 year old boys and we never had a dull moment. It was our first time staying at Dogwood Valley but it will not be our last. The boys loved the pond and it's many activities. I loved the heated pools, camp store, clean bathrooms and friendly staff.
