Stayed 2 nights. Excellent garden, food, host. 2.2 miles up the road from the recycling drop off. Lots to offer if stuck inside, but more to offer outside. Large collection of gardening books. Dr. Porter gave us a walking tour of the massive garden behind the house. Tub height a bit higher than I'm used to. Queen bed was fine,... More

My husband and I stayed with Connie for 2 nights. The house is beautifully decorated. The queensize bed very comfortable. The breakfasts were out of this world! Connie even got up extra early one day to serve us pancakes and bacon so that we could get to the GNCC race my husband was racing in. Good quality soaps, sheets, towels.... More

My husband and I stayed for two nights in May. It was our first time visiting Athens and our first time staying at a B and B. Sand Ridge Bed and Breakfast was very clean and comfortable, like a home away from home! Connie was very sweet and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious. The country setting was refreshing. We couldn't believe... More

Connie was absolutely wonderful with hospitality. I went in with some concerns since I've never been to a B&B. But Connie makes you feel at home every step of the way. I'm definitely considering this for another weekend getaway in the future.

My husband and I stayed here over Valentine's Weekend. It was perfect. The house is located off a really nicely maintained road. Connie's directions are dead-on. Connie was extremely accomdating and has a BEAUTIFUL house to share. It snowed all weekend, so my husband and I went hiking in Strouds Run, which was less than 15 minutes away. My favorite... More

We have stayed twice with Connie, and unlike many of the B&B's we've experienced, she actually lives there. This summer the birds, gardens and pond were busy; late November we were drawn inside to read, sip wine by the fire. Breakfasts are fresh and local and Connie knows what's going on in the area. We did a Final Fridays in... More

The Sand Ridge B&B was a beautifully renovated farm house and it was adorable! It was clean and completely charming. The owner, Connie, was so accommodating and VERY sweet. I really felt like I was staying at friend's house rather than a B&B. Great breakfasts with wonderful presentation. My sister wanted Connie to adopt her! We stayed her over Mom's... More

We had a great time staying in the double room at the Sand Ridge for a three nights in between Christmas and New Years. It was perfect for us because even though the weather was kind of gross, we were able to stay in and enjoy the fire and the living room, reading and chatting with a glass (or several)... More

I found this B and B on the Ohio University web site and booked after I found out all the hotels in Athens, Ohio were full due to a swim meet. I completely lucked out! It's a beautiful B and B and Connie, the owner, couldn't have been nicer. There are only two rooms, one queen and one double, but... More
