My mother, my sister and I stayed here for two nights as we were driving around Ohio. What a nice, peaceful stay! We especially enjoyed rocking on the front porch as we soaked in the view. The hosts were very pleasant and have a beautiful place.

We have stayed at Fields of Home every year since 2003. I had no idea what to expect our first visit and was so blessed to stay in such a clean, comfortable room(Maple Room). We loved our trip to Amish country so much we choose to visit every year. Since that first time we have stayed in the Wicker room, Fontana... More

When staying in Amish country this little gem of a bed and breakfast is the place to stay...the rooms are nice and clean. The porch is wonderful for just relaxing and watching the buggies go up and down the road. The innkeepers are so accommodating...although they do not live in the inn they are in close proximity and you can... More

We were here for three nights and had a wonderful time. No TV, except DVD's; no phones, and if you're thinking of using a phone they are gracious enough to have one, but there is NONE in the room. Quiet and peaceful with good conversations with our Mennonite hosts Merv and Ruth, and with other guests. Like talking to old... More

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback regarding our lodge. We're so glad you enjoyed your stay! As for the phones, we are puzzled why you thought we didn't have them in our rooms, since we have always had phones in each of our rooms. It is true that incoming calls for a guest must be answered... More

We stayed in the Hickory room on a sunday to monday. We really enjoyed the experience and the entire atmosphere of the area. Our room was nice and homey, country style decoration. It wasn't huge but it didn't need to be. The only thing that was missing really was a slightly bigger shower, but everything else was great. Our room... More

Quiet and peaceful B&B in the heart of Amish country. Location is Near Mt. Hope and Berlin. Small catch and release fish pond, perfect for small child (bluegill bite on bare hooks). Stayed three nights with daughter and grandson. We are booking again on our next trip to visit family in the area.

Feilds of Home made our trip to Amish Country so much more enjoyable. Everything was so great from the views, to the comfy room, to the wonderful hospitality and delicious breakfast. It was so peaceful to sit on the porch and watch the wildlife in the flower gardens, also to be able to walk around the pond was relaxing. It... More

Overall, this was a good choice. The only thing I would change is the section sofa sleeper on the main floor. It had a poor sleeping pull out bed. The springs and mattress on the sofa sleeper were shot. The kitchen area had a coffee pot, microwave, refrigerator and stove. The upstairs loft had a comfy queen size bed. There... More

Thank-you for taking the time to post a review. We are sorry about the condition of the pull-out bed on the sleeper sofa. We've replaced the mattress and springs on that sofa since your visit. We also have new sleeper sofas in the Maple Room and the Fontana Room. We hope you will be able to visit Fields of Home... More

We had a wonderful time, on our weekend to Fields of Home. The Maple Room is large enough to sleep six. This was our second, yearly visit to the Amish Country, in Holmes County Ohio, and we thoroughly, enjoyed both stays, at Fields of Home B&B. The B&B is comfortable, and has a delicious, breakfast. We plan to go back... More
